I have acquired 4 of those magnetts. Did the strings keep the top magnet from flipping? Have you done any other experiments with them?

For the people who are commenting about being able to see the strings. Are you really that dense? Do you really think the magnet floating about the other magnet has anything to do with the strings other than to hold the magnet stable so it doesn't fly off to the side? They don't actually lift the magnet. Wow...crack open a book otherwise get used to saying, "Would you like fries with that?"

@StefanTheSerb There are only 2 strings on one side, just keeping it from being forced to the side. They are not holding it up. Just holding it close to the magnet on the table

@HowToUniverse dumbass, that's not the point, he was just making it float, the strings just hold it in place, the other strings hold the screws witch hold the magnet up on the other side

@whatuwantmom Actually, your partially wrong at well. The other strings holding the screws DO NOT hold up the other side of the magnet. Watch the video again (maybe you didn't watch it long enough) and you'll see him take the two screws away and the magnet still floats above the other one.
