Buddha do not gives blessings. Due to any prayer Buddha do not become happy & gives blessings. But by following his principles & teachings & our own Kamma we will become happy. This is wrong & this is totally affected by Hinduism. Some people who do not want to develop Buddhism as is own they are trying to mixing Hinduism in Buddhism & state its principle & teachings in wrong way. We have to aware from these people & put away from our self.

Why recite/chant something that one does not even understand? doesn’t make sense & would be pretentious, it would mean nothing. it would be just like eastern Buddha’s getting a band together & trying to play Youth Gone Wild by Skid Row. which is absurd & clash of culture. i really like the way this sounds though. i feel myself really attracted to Mahakala. i guess you could say the western archetype for Mahakala is Dracula? , Satan?, The Devil?. ..so what really is "Good" & "Evil”...

Why wont you just post something about Mahakala here instead of having people look for a center that most times are not even close to their area? Why is there such a stigma around darker dieties. All should be accepted in the same light. You have to know that if you are a real buddist.

Lol. The Buddha stated that "regardless of Esoteric or Exoteric principles, I am not a teacher of the closed-fist." Here I see people whining about if this or that should be posted online for non-initiates to see. Initiations are the dogmas of the Lama power system. False dharmas. Buddhism is non-dogmatic, The Buddha stated himself. All techniques should be available to practitioners, both occult/esoteric (secret) and exoteric (commonly-taught or public). Obstructing others from Dharma is wrong.

Love it! Where is the audio from? Is this Nyingma? Can one obtain any benefit from this if he has not received wang/lung/empowerment? Or would it be better to just stick with what I already have? I always wondered about Mahakala. :) I probably received some sort of Mahakala empowerment from Namkhai Norbu during retreat (he hit us with a bunch at once), but it would likely be specific to his lineage, obviously. I can already do Sinhamukha, Guru Dragpur and Green Tara. Still, Mahakala interests me

This prayer belongs to Karma Kagyu. I've been a student of NNR for many years but I don't recall him giving a transmission for this prayer. I don't think you can benefit from a practice without a transmission.

@spacedancer thank you! :) NNR has given so many practices, anyway. I'm sure I have all I need. If I recall correctly, I believe he said Green Tara was all you ever really need... and I *know* he said guru yoga was all you really need. I just did a Yoga of Arya Tara retreat and I think I'm going to make that my practice for life. The only problem, for me, is if I want to do this Tara practice morning and evening when do I squeeze in a thun with the wrathful deities?

You won't be able to find the "lyrics" since it it meant for only those who recitated it with an official cagyu lama or practice it in a meditation centre. This is something for cagyu practicioners, so please go to one of the Diamondway Karma Kagyu Meditation Centre and practice it there. For most important, those who know the script please do not share it with others, since it is only meant for you. That is all.
