Back in the day you would have music like the 2Live Crew, NWA, Ice T or 2Short but then you would have some Public Enemy, Brand Nubian, Boogie Down Productions, Rakim, DeLaSoul, A Tribe Called Quest, Poor Righteous Teachers, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, Heavy D to balance it out.

If i'm going to be real with ya'll... there's no one to blame but the people who listen to Hip hop. If you don't like what you're hearing then don't listen to the song. Shoot. I know that there are some hip hop songs that I just don't enjoy listening to. Others I repeat over and over again. I know what I like to hear so i'll hear it. The perceived equality in this American society has been a slow acting poision to the black communities. We have allowed ourselves to be placed in the "Pop Culture Box" once again. It happened in the 1920's with ragtime. In the 30's with Jazz. In the 40's with Swing and Jazz. During the 50's with Blues; 60's motown; need i continue through the decades? We have allowed black culture to be placed in marketing and profits. Just like slavery was a market.

After "Public Enemy" the hip-hop goes gangsta rap (Dr. Fre etc) and now is all about blig-blig, hos etc. I want to see is change the mind of the industry masters, including perons like Jay-Z. And, to finish, the lady is beautifull, i love her! :-)))
