If ur in Havanna then Rafael Trejo Gimnasio is definetely the best u can go ;) the city Matanzas on the way to varadero also has a very good gym.
Antreanador Miranda is the head coach, theres also Rudiman Falcon whos one of his students but also very cool guy ! Regarding the prices, totally depends on how long u guys wanna train there. If its only a day u can count like 10 CUC(Peso Convertible) for a session. Generally the old womens at the entry make the price negotiation
But i would speak directly the head coach ;) if u take some gifts with u such as hanwraps mouthguards etc,.They'll really be thankfull for that, cuz they have nothing there. You'll seewhen u get there! thats what i did and they let me train for free there for a week. At the end i gave them some money anyway.but great people for sure ! Training every weekday from 9:00 to 11:00 am, kids training starts 14:00 pm if i remember right.
Hope it helps and u guys will hav loads of fun there as we did ;)
dude they hardly have any stuff over there, so take ur boxing equipment with you and after u´ve finished your training there just hand them over as a gift to one of the boys there ;) They`ll be more than happy and you can buy yourself some new stuff when you get back home ... that don´t hurt ya ;)
if you want to train out there i'd go straight for Miranda, he's the real deal there. if you want contact details send me a message.
Ruriman (spelled with an 'r' not a 'd') is a top lad and is becoming a really good coach but Miranda is the man to teach you if you're going all that way.
Hi man, i think it's nice to upload it.. Good to hear what's wrong to get better. So, i suggest you to keep your left hand high after throwing it. A good opponent would see a big opportunity to counter you, so watch out.
I wish the best for you "carreer".. Greetings from France, Paris.
With those big gloves you're going to have a hard time making power with your arms. You should experiment with focusing on one muscle while you're punching ( shoulders, hips, left leg, right leg). You'll quickly figure out what kind of style is best for you. Also don't dodge the jab by moving with your left leg, move your right leg.
Relax the hands, give it freedom. The mitts dont gonna hurt you.

yeah Kery, I tend to lower the left hand after the punch, that is true indeed. am working on it and hope that problem soon dissolves ;)
