iI think what the master Abbado says is very true, not many people know what is happening in Venezuela! what is there is musical product at work, passion and dedication! that is why there are so many talented children and are a great and huge amount

@mariorussi2010 Ho letto articoli secondo cui Abbado e altri importanti artisti stanno cercando di portare "El Sistema" in Italia. Temo però che con tutta la sua buona volontà, da noi "El Sistema" diventerà "El Sistemone" (cit.)

I think, if these three conductors are willing to work with any orchestra in any country, this country has the future of classical music. Venezuela is just lucky. As a chinese, I feel shame. we have 1.4 billion people, but so far we don't have a world class orchestra. I don't think we are lack of talented kids, at least easier ti find than in venezuela... We got huge amount of kids who learn music instruments, but we also need somebody to lead them and train them working together.

Venezuela is not "Just Lucky"...This is a work in progress that started 34 years ago in the minds of 11 visionaries, 11 dreamers with Dr Abreu at the head. This just didn't happen, it was created and now the dream starts to to come alive. And it is a "Sistema" thru the music that in the words of Dr Abreu "transmits the highest social values, such as solidarity, harmony and mutual compassion" They all learn together, not as separate entities...
