I'm jealous of your collection. I just started collecting the Hawthorne Village "Nightmare Before Christmas" village pieces, and I've been looking for ideas on how to display them. How did you hide the chords?
Can you tell me how did you get all the village, i was playing on buying it also, but in the hawthorne page, they only show 4 houses, what did you did to get them all?
you have to be part of the subscription plan. I thought the same thing about the halloween set. There are 6 sets to the village but only 5 are shown in the picture. When I called customer service they said they couldn't fit everything into one pic. But call the customer service number on the website. Make sure you get what you want. Hope that helps

I have the same collection. I just use a black cloth and a fake road I got at department 56 and display them on a flat surface
