2000 Honda Prelude 2.5in Exhaust

I still haven't been able to find the cause the my CEL light, which starts flashing only when the car gets really hot (30+ driving minutes). I think my application of seafoam, reduced the occurence of the flashing CEL, but it hasn't completely gone away. Maybe I'll try once more. I always thought it was preigniting, but from what I understand a bad fuel injector , or coil, can cause misfiring when hot, to. A beautful car, but unfortunately, my previous owner, took care of it like shit.

clean lude, why do u have a cel light on is it b/c of the high flow cat, any issues with the magnaflow hi flow b/c mine is done am thinking of replacing itwith the magnaflow one

it wassnt on because of the CAT, during the install, the mechanic damaged my rear O2 sensor therefore throwing the CEL

oh and one more question, i was wondering what kind of performance increase you got from your headers, cat and catback? ive heard all sorts of numbers, but obviously a prelude owner knows best!! did you get like 15-20 hp?

I hear ya man. But my moral compass went out the window because ultimately my wallet matters most. I dumped my dc sports because it doesn't make any power. Thanks for the feadback tho. It's crystal blue metallic. I need a new walkaround video tho cause I've made some changes. It is a n1 style exhaust, but I'm thinking of getting a magnaflow muffler

i just bought an apexi ws2 exhaust. should i buy a high-flow cat, or can i stick to the stock?

I like it. I am not a fan of the replica header, kind of fucked up for SMSP and Hytech, they put a lot of sweat and tears into those designs. But w/e at least it isnt a megan (retching noises). What type of muffler did you go with?  Is that a crystal blue or nordic mist bb6?

at least 215's which are plenty for the Prelude's Outstanding suspension. The upper wishbone lower control arm fully independent suspension on even a stock prelude is something to behold. I have Hancook 215 45 17's on my 5th gen and they do not break loose ever. Well except maybe in the rain...

yes they are 215 40 17s and they give substantial grip. I cant get them to break on dry pavement either. only spin going into second. Mine are just Cooper Zeons

How do you like the header? where did you get it from?

I love the header, really adds to the powerband. I bought it from a groupbuy on a prelude forum.

Double park to prevent dings..thats what I do also!

I live there so I do whatever the f I want to. Plus I will double park all day it it prevents someone from parking next to me and not dinging the ride.
