I'm surprised at the slow recovery of the foe in question. They were faster in DS1 weren't they? I suppose the Brutes of DS2 all have the infamous 'withdraw hit detection' that Slasher 'slashes' were so well known for among those dicking around with melee handling.
Those stasis canisters aren't much for damage among class 4's, but the extended duration would be nice for chipping away a bit quicker I should think. Good pure-melee showing.
NOTE: NGW got into some trouble above and accidentally dropped an Exploder sack down here. Curiously, it did not unload and OHK'd the Super Brute on Zealot (where the organic bombs it sends out take two to finish a severely weakened one). All class 4's not created equal indeed...
