Hey buddy, installed the q300 and I know what you meant about the small amount of drone. All I gotta ask is, did you notice any hp loss after installing the Resonator?

I'll post up a comparison video soon between the q300 with & w/o the resonator.

I honestly hope it doesn't disrupt the flow from 3" to 2.5

@OooMrNastyTime I can't tell if the Q300 made it faster or if the loudness made it SEEM faster. As you probably know, there isn't much to be gained hp-wise on these motors without forced induction. All said and done I think it was close to stock exhaust hp after the resonator. A little gained by the Q300, a little lost by the resonator. A lot more growl. I did find highway driving for more than an hour with top up to be a little tiring even with resonator.

"A lot more growl" You mean with the resonator it has more growl?

If' so that's probably more the sound I'm after. Not too worried about HP loss. Plus getting rid of that occasional drone.

@OooMrNastyTime No problem. All said and done the invidia q300 exhaust with replaced resonator has more growl than stock (which is pretty wheezy in my opinion!) and is not raspy. Drone/booming sound from Q300 alone reduced by about 75% (no scientific measurements to back that up :)

@OooMrNastyTime Good catch and that's something I forgot to mention. The installer flared the ends of the resonator about .25" to match the exhaust diameter. Not ideal for performance but neither was my idea for adding any type of resonator :) Though I do like the design of the hushpower and power was kind of the same as stock all said and done.
