You were right the first time, the beginning of the song says "Talk video screams at me" not "talk radio screams at me.". The line before it mentions "cell phone calls" and then mentions talk video screaming at him through his tinted window which is the tinted screen on the afore mentioned cell phone that he has received a call on
I got home from school a few hours ago, and this music video was on the tv. I couldnt tear my eyes away, but I really wanted to, because I was about to cry; but I dont cry. I just dont. I know people should, but I try not to no matter what. This song is so true... Im in middle school. yeah, MIDDLE SCHOOL. haha, I had the exact same reaction as well! I thought talk radio seems so much more appropriate as well. I've listened to it over and over and for some reason it just keeps coming out as "talk video" as with "radio" there's more of a pronunciation that you would sound out the word "raid" where as he says it where (if it is talk radio) it sounds like "talk rideo". This would be so much easier if they had their lyrics on the CD cover!!!!!!!!! haha. I'll definitely try to solve this!

viet nam vets referred to the US as "the world". tho this isn't written for VN vets some of the verses grabbed me. returning from my second tour,at the old frisco terminal a little girl smiled and started to come over to me. her mom grabbed her and whispered loud enough for people to hear "no,he's from VN". the bandages and cane was my cross to bear. i often wonder if that little girl remembers. .
This belongs in a movie about someone who's just got out of prison and relaizes his or her mistakes. It's really a dramatic song. Actually, it makes me think of this guy I know who has a brain tumor. "Broken like I'm never gonna heal".

You were right the first time, the beginning of the song says "Talk video screams at me" not "talk radio screams at me.". The line before it mentions "cell phone calls" and then mentions talk video screaming at him through his tinted window which is the tinted screen on the afore mentioned cell phone that he has received a call on

Talk radio, hes in his car and some radio channels are called talk radio, I dont think talk video exists.

I got home from school a few hours ago, and this music video was on the tv. I couldnt tear my eyes away, but I really wanted to, because I was about to cry; but I dont cry. I just dont. I know people should, but I try not to no matter what. This song is so true... Im in middle school. yeah, MIDDLE SCHOOL. I shouldnt be worrying about this kinda stuff, but I do. :( This is so sad...........But I love it...... :)

Heh, when I was making the video I went back and forth on which one I should put. Most lyrics sites that I looked at said "talk video" so I was like well, I guess I'll just go with that one haha! Thanks for the comment though, and I'll definitely listen to it a few more times to figure it out. :)

Oh okay. I'm like 99% sure, because "talk radio" seems more likely than "talk video". But you never know. I looked up a few sites as well and they said talk radio. I just wanted to point it out.

haha, I had the exact same reaction as well! I thought talk radio seems so much more appropriate as well. I've listened to it over and over and for some reason it just keeps coming out as "talk video" as with "radio" there's more of a pronunciation that you would sound out the word "raid" where as he says it where (if it is talk radio) it sounds like "talk rideo". This would be so much easier if they had their lyrics on the CD cover!!!!!!!!! haha. I'll definitely try to solve this!

To me this song is about what is important in the world. He start off by singing about all of the distractions that this world has and how this little girl in a van is just seeing it all for the first time. It ends with him realizing that his world is important because of his family not the day to day rush. I love this song I love Lady A all of their songs are about the simple things the important things.

it means that you forget all about what life is for and you are all mad but then you see this little girl who is in a car and she has chocolate on her face and her parents are fighting and then later on you come across the girl again and their parents wrecked an she is dead and then she is staring at her dead body as a ghost and you see her and she sees you and everyone forgot what was goin on and was worried about her and then she comes back to life and everyone is so happy

viet nam vets referred to the US as "the world". tho this isn't written for VN vets some of the verses grabbed me. returning from my second tour,at the old frisco terminal a little girl smiled and started to come over to me. her mom grabbed her and whispered loud enough for people to hear "no,he's from VN". the bandages and cane was my cross to bear. i often wonder if that little girl remembers. .

This belongs in a movie about someone who's just got out of prison and relaizes his or her mistakes. It's really a dramatic song. Actually, it makes me think of this guy I know who has a brain tumor. "Broken like I'm never gonna heal".
