  • wtf pics

  • For many of us Anishnabes, Ira is still a part of us. Ira's courage is in our hearts. I feel it very seldmo, but there is an emotion in my me, proud of my ancestors who I believe are with me. But I am used to shutting them out in day to day life. However, when I see their heriosm in the media, thier words and deeds touch my heart, forcing me to hold back tears...I too am just an Indian...IT MUST ALLOW THEM TO ACCEPT THEIR COURAGE....

  • We need NDN history month and NDN entertainment television. but i guess you gotta be black to showcase and be proud of your race unless its tv showing the NDN's to be savage killers who are the bad guys or drunks.

  • Listen to Pat Sky's version of the great Peter LaFarge song. Best one IMO...

  • Say what you want, the fathers in Washington dumped on the indians, UNFAIR!! Most of us are at least part indian and that part greaves for the lose

  • Remember this song when you bash on hispanics. they fight for your country too...

  • what a great tribute to both the native americans and the flagraisers on Iwo Jima

  • WHO IS THE ONE FUCK THAT DISLIKE'S SOND PLEASE GET SOME TASTE

  • @72lukey1 unfortunatly some dickweeds get off by disliking songs just for the reaction it causes, instead of looking at the dislikes i now try to work out the percentages and knowing that 99.7% LIKE this song makes that one dickweed seem very insignificant

  • @72lukey1 some dumb commi

  • Ira Hayes ... Semper Fi , my red brother ...A Real American Hero . Yatahay ...RIP , & thank you for your service to an ungrateful nation .

  • Perhaps, maybe you should just listen to the song and not denote some conatation to it.

  • once again Kris nailed it!

  • RIP Ira Hayes, Semper Fi !

  • RIP Ira Hayes

  • The song seems to speak for itself.

  • peace to Chief Falling Cloud. R.I.P. its been documented that Ira never wanted all the attention and regretted that his fallen brothers never got to come home to reality and life in the USA, let alone be honored as a "hero" by President Eisenhower at the White House. peace my brother. remember equality starts with each one of us on a daily basis in our own life.

  • @colton422 Right on! More people need to know the real "Ira"... The Humble one...

  • @colton422 I thought it was President Truman

  • Some love to build up our "heroes" just to knock them down again.

Thanks Kris for having the courage to sing about Ira! We all let him down.

  • I liked Kris Kristofferson's version as much as Johnny Cash's. I've listened to Johnny's since high school

  • STFU

  • @888edward888 fuck off

  • I was shocked I liked Kris Kristofferson's version better than Johnny Cash's. I've listened to Johnny's since high school and it helped inspire me to join the Marines to go to Vietnam. And while in bootcamp in San Diego our pugil stick champion was a Pima Indian. I thought of Ira. He'd a been proud.

  • Well done !

  • Thanks for sharing this video

    Cheers from Belgium

    Eric - Studio ChinChan

  • Townes did the best version of this one, for me he did anyway. This is far too fast and happy for my taste i'm afraid

  • This is good!

  • We need patriots today, now. Lest not we remember old Ira Hays and the rest you died for this country. Our soveriegn nation is being attacked from within. God bless the patriots.

  • You should remember that during our revolution it was our soveriegn nation that was attacked from within. God Bless Our Nation. Patriots come in all shapes and sizes.

  • Yes, my friend. I agree. History does repeat. And now we are on watch. With God's help we will prevail. I stand with you as a patriot. Fuck the nwo & what it stanfs for. Freedom or death, nothing in between.

  • great

  • Great performance by Kris, the song actually sound better with him.Dont get me wrong I was a Cash fan waaay before I got into Kris. But somehow it seems better and more with the times when Kris does it.
