The real travesty lies in the product and the numerous modifications made to the macaroni itself. I began eating it in the early 70's and back then you had to boil it for almost 20 minutes. If you over cooked it, it didn't split like it does today. That's because it was real macaroni. Today it only takes 7 minutes before it ends up a slimy muck in your bowl. It's all about the bottom line folks. Cheapen the ingredients and... ready kids? Say it with me... boost profit margin!

No, it's the same Kraft Dinner as before, but they put two sets of directions on the box--one original, and one "heart smart," which entitles them to put the Health Check on the front. Also, I wasn't entirely clear, is it just that the box looks weird, or does the Kraft Dinner inside the box taste different too?
