@stanleytherat Not all 4cyls are easily defeated by a v8. I've got a Mustang Cobra right now, but my previous car was an S2000 with a naturally aspirated 2 liter 4cyl that would eat this car for breakfast. It's common for people to turbocharge them and make 600whp with a stock long block. Just need a set of ARP head studs and a cometic gasket to lower the compression a tad. Considering my cobra motor and the one in this video would throw a rod trying to make 600whp. I think that's pretty good.
I agree that most ricers with 4 bangers are all show and no go, but you're naive to say 4 bangers aren't meant to be fast.
4 cyl engines can get tons of reliable power. BMW's F1 engine in the 1980's was a 4 cyl m10 engine block from their road car the 2002 and it made 1300hp.

@stanleytherat i guess subaru did it... those imprezas sti have 280 hp out of a 2.0 turbo, and the recent ones squeezes 305 hp and nearly as much torque out of a 2.5 turbo...
@3njoi1t timing was off and it was wet, still its not extrememly fast do to the fact that im in high school with no money, but even owning one, you have to admit that neons are very shitty cars and stock for stock wayyy slower than a v8 of the same year

The SRT is Dodge's second fastest production car, second to the Viper. Do some reading kiddo, my "Neon" eats LS1s. And that's with nothing more than a 3" TBE and a 2-step/WOT box.

@BeeABaw its an exhaust leak. my friend swapped a 350 into a jeep and it had a bad exhaust leak and a hole in the firewall. sounds just like this. its a pretty intense feeling considering there was a huge hole in the firewall and the motor was loud
