@nniicckkk1994 you dont buy a corvette for gas mileage, i have an 81 and at that time it was the same shit, but ive never actually checked it, but it has a cam, heads, exhaust, top end, distributor (all performance parts) and it depends how u drive it, stomping on it at every light wont get you far on the 100 dollar fill but highway and as long as u drive sanely there not too too bad, probably the same as a new half ton truck, in around there

@debrpa Not sure, definately not a74 (Unless it's been converted to look like an earlier model) Could be a 72 but can't be 100% as the 69-72 models were almost exactly the same. The 68 wasnt badged as a Stingray, so it aint that. The 73 didnt have a chrome nose, so it aint that either. And 74 onwards had no chrome bumpers.

It's a '69 Sting Ray so I'm guessing it's a 427 as I don't think the 454 was an engine option for the Vette until 1970, I believe.

You wont burn yourself as he is got heat shields on the HOOKER pipes... The shield is where it says Corvette or Stingray (cant see it very well).. I know as I have the same side pipes and I dont have that shield on it.. So yes I can burn my self ;-)... Great sound and beautifull car... Keep it up ;)

Usually sidepipes have mufflers. To have sidepipes with the flowmaster sound might be tricky. Try calling flowmaster. Otherwise you might have to get creative routing the exhaust though the flowmasters with fake sidepipes, and merging the outlet into the outlet of the sidepipes. Like I said, tricky.

The C3's thrush tubes isn't really the exhaust, it covers the actual exhaust. If you get under one, the headers don't flow into the front of the pipe, they meet it about half way back. I just got a 76 vette and noticed that. I agree though, he could run the headers into flow masters, then bring them out about midway back on the doors, and have thrush tubes covering them up and making it look like the exhaust is coming out right behind the front wheel.

All 1976 Vettes are Stingrays. In fact, 1976 was the last year that Stringray appeared on the car. The L48 is the base (standard) engine. It was an 180 HP 350 c.i. V8. An optional 350 V8(L82) was also available with 210 HP.
