I've never been able to put it into words but he said it perfectly. Most artists are making music for their peers. By peers I mean everyone that's already high up in the business. I can't relate to a lot of what's out now (as far as Hip Hop) so why would I bother buying it if I don't even want to listen to it. I'm only one person but I'm going to look into Don Trip's music. Like he said it is refreshing.
