well u should see the stuff from before the Unicron Trilogy. Armada was really the only good part of the Unicron Trilogy and it shouldn't have even been a trilogy in the first place since Cybertron wasn't intended to be that when it was made in Japan, they only modified it so that it'd be a trilogy in the American dub. Animated is much more like how Transformers is supposed to be.

This series was a huge letdown to me for 2 things:The looks and Optimus Is not the leader(WTF).

Only G1 was awesome (from USA studios).

Please if they make a new series let it be anime by Japan.

I felt that the show could have had potential, but a few fallbacks I thought the writers didn't make the story to thorough, Optimus Prime needed to sound and look much older. The only character I really liked in the series was Starscream.

Its not for kids i love g1 but i must admit this new series is my new fav i love the characters i love some (not all) of the human baddies that make the show have some freshness not fighting megatron who's collecting energon cubes every ep' it makes it so much cooler when the decp' have a major plan, only thing i would change is Ultra magnus being the head of the autobots i wish he was called Alpha Trion... then the G1 kid in me would be 100% happy.

Agreed; it's a great theme. This is just the tip of the iceberg from ANDY STURMER, composer and lead singer on this piece. He also did TEEN TITANS, THE BATMAN and others. He was also the lead singer and cheif songwriter/producer of JELLYFISH, a GREAT 90's retro pop band. They were hardly noticed at the time but are now legendary. Look for "New Mistake" and "The King Is Half-Undressed" by JELLYFISH here on YouTube. Terrific stuff.

I think the trailer functioned as it's own robot, just like Roller. Or maybe Roller was some sort of symbiotic robot to the trailer, or could drive the trailer around directly. Then, when Optimus would transform and go into battle, it'd stay behind, being some kind of medical/research center as the toy and Roller's function suggests.

Not that anything in the show really indicates this out and out.

actually it as touched on in the show. The "Roller" and "Trailer" unit were extensions of Optimus Prime, but with their own seperate personalities. None can function without Optimus, and Optimus feels the loss of one or another.
