  • Holy Shit! When Thome was singing in the floor it was amazing.

  • Good performance in 2003 dammm

  • OHHHHHH....gives me goosebumps watching radiohead...they are all blatently loving it

  • my goodness this song is beautiful.

  • i fucking love this song!!!!!

  • what did it say on the sign he was holding up?

  • @sullywully182 the sign says "YOU HAVE TIME FOR 4 SONGS TOTAL" :)

  • thom is amazing! haha..best voice i know of

  • Ou, i love this song so much...!

  • A bit too fast, this version. Still good, though.

  • @fuzzvid I love how people say that bands play their own songs too fast, the artist can do whatever they may like with their songs because they're theirs!

  • mtv?

    wtf?

  • "you have time for 4 songs total"...r u kidding?..of course

  • hahaha yeah VERY true. but theyre random as bawls haha

  • love this song. pretty decent performance. thom isn't always the best live singer. but still better than other live acts i've seen in the past. i'd like to actually see them live as opposed to live videos. sure the energy is a lot more substantial that way.

  • i think it has a lot to do with when you catch him. like, i saw radiohead near the end of their last tour and you could tell he was worn out. but when i saw him play with flea this year, his voice was absolutely perfect, i think due to some much-needed and well-deserved rest!

  • how would someone remeber these genius lyrics haha

  • he wrote them? lol

  • DANCE YOU FUCKER, DANCE YOU FUCKER

  • don t you dare!

  • don't you dare don't you dare

  • masters

  • jonny at 2:12, sooooo great¡¡¡¡

  • what an amazing performance

  • Oh My God!!! Awsome!!! :D

  • God Blessed Us With THOM YORKE

  • hermoso

  • do you actually know how good this is?

  • Thom is definitely taking the piss throughout this haha

  • que gran final vocal de ThoOm, estas pequeñas pero significativas cosas son las que distinguen a los lideres de los seguidores y por supuesto radiohead son los lideres del rock actual

    RadioOhead=Lideres

  • what amazing omg i lost words

  • angelic

  • being an american it does my heart good to see that there is still a creative side to rap, as opposed to all the "fuck you bitch get in my car" over hear in the states, long live british musicians, long live radiohead

  • amazing! exit music, tourist, jigsaw and wolf definately their best songs

  • i dont see it ass rap like more you in your face angry

good fucking song i love it

  • "dance you fucker dance" now I know its not extremely clever but i still think thats one of thom's best ever lyrics

  • its people like you that make me feel like theres still hope. yes dance you fucker. walking like johnny crane.

  • walking like "giant cranes" is actually the line

  • I'm pretty sure Jonny Greenwood wrote this song. Either way, yeah, that's definitely one of the best lines in this song.

  • aaaah, now that's a good rap, without the "bitch yo homie, iv'e got so much money and cars" crap

  • Yeah but you gotta laugh at that "Move Bitch" song.

"MOOOOOVE BITCH, GET OUT THE WAY! GET OUT THE WAY BITCH, GET OUT THE WAY! OOH NOOOOOOO!" etc.

Not music as such, but it's fucking hilarious.

  • Either I pissed off a Ludacris fan or someone lacks a sense of humour :P

  • Fucking awesome!!!!

  • jeez

  • Which live is it?

  • Next time I'm taken hostage I'll think of this song.

  • Dance you fucker!!

  • Jonny and Thom are straight gangsta in this performance..

  • mtv used to play radiohead? now i wish i had been born 5 years earlier..

  • 20 years earlier woudl have been better

  • o shit radiohead on MTV who knew they played music at one time

  • Who knew!

  • Thom is so great in this performance. He's all hip-hop on stage! Just kidding. But he's such an amazing artist. Same goes for Jonny and the rest of them. Such fucking amazing people.

  • ya totally agree, this is actually a jonny song too

  • I love how Thom scares me in the start ;)

  • wow.

This is the song that should be playing when a horde of machines finally decides to wipe out this miserable species..

One of my all time favourites. ever.

  • dont ever stop making music!!

  • haha I love the beginning. Thom owns.

  • espectaculaaaaaaaaaaaar

  • magnifique!!!!!

    ya pa de mots!

  • hes acting like morrissey :D!!

  • Don't you dare, don't you flan in the face.

  • take it with the love thats given take it with a pinch of salt take it to the taxman

  • Dance you fucker dance you fucker!!!!!!

  • que voz!!! que voz!!!

  • Odd that only one person I've seen noticed the very beginning when Thom gets a note talking about his song limit total. Its because they're on a set for MTV and are being constrained to a time table. He even throws away the note after showing the crowd. To be honest, I would MUCH rather listen to a few more songs by Radiohead then ever even having to hear whatever else they had playing.

  • Haha, yeah well no shit!

  • the first 6 or so notes are the same first notes from i want you(shes so heavy) by the beatles. im not dissing in any way shape or form , i love radiohead passionately but i just noticed it so hey. if you havent heard the beatles song im talking about you should listen to it, its awesome too.really awesome

  • But then the Beatles took that from Beethoven...?

  • Yeah. It was Moonlight Sonata played backwards or somesuch.

    Nice spot peetsi.

  • nah. that would be "because" that is moonlight sonata in reverse. yes, they use the same beginning chords as "because" with the rythm of the coda of "i want you"... which is just awsome awsomeness.

  • what?? Good writers borrow and Great Writers steal Shakespere stole

  • It's also the first six notes of 'you never wash up after yourself'

  • Slightly different but v similar yeah.

  • i think that colin greenwood gets substantially less face time than everyone else in almost every live video...really, whats up with that?

  • I'm generally afraid of lyrics, so I don't pay attention but as far as ass kick art rock and basically just about being the most interesting band in the world, musically; Radiohead has my full attention because I'm an ego maniac and thought everyone should know about that. Sounds like Rolling Stone crap.(not the music-(the diggity))

  • I keep the wolf from the door, but he calls me up,he calls me on the phone, tells me all the ways, that he's gonna mess me up.............................wooohoooooooooooo

  • Steal all my children if I don't pay the ransom, and I'll never see them again if I squeel to the cops...

Brilliant vocals in this song >_>

  • Fantastic...emotion and feelig of music..oh yes,i love it...i am dead

  • you do know why he does that? its because he's not just singing the song, he's probly imaginin something about it, or feelin it or someshit

  • im sure he is, the song's most core emotion is vunerability and being unable to do anything other than curl up in a little ball and cry

  • he's just a really energetic performer, like matt of muse. without a guitar in his hands he has an excuse to dance around. besides, i've heard many live versions where he messes up the lyrics, especially the intro, because its hard for him to play and sing at such a fast pace. bit of the same for karma police, but he always manages to keep going

  • So much emotion...Thom on the floor!

  • wow thom on the floor, this man is so fucking intense !!!!!!!

  • no im pretty sure johny did the lyrics.

  • I dont remember where I read that the lyrics were made by the other greenwood, the bass player

  • nononono the other guys right

thom wrote it on a train an he was gonna scrap it cos he thought they were to miserable but johnny wrote the perfect music for it

  • haha thom on the floor, he´s so funny! love the song also :)

  • I always thought it was a song about a psychopath. I split into two different viewpoints, the chorus is the victim: "I keep the wolf from the door..." and the verse is a stream of conciousness from the psycho. It nicely explains the change in register and style between the two as well, I feel.

  • @Catchascatchcan i see it more like a story with a point

  • @Catchascatchcan City boys in First Class don't know they're born little

Someone else is gonna come and clean it up

Born and raised for the job

    Someone always does

I wish you'd get up get over

get up, get over and turn the tape off

  • @Catchascatchcan no its about the I R S

  • This is my favourite song from hail to the theif

  • radiohead gigs have a nice atmosphere you dont get with most bands

  • this song is so reflective of our time i think it was written by jonny though GENIUSSSSSSSSS

  • Well, Jonny wrote the music. The lyric is Thom's work. It's a killer, though.

  • haha love this song...he moves so funny when he raps XD.... lot more different than his awesome dances

  • he doesnt wanna be obvious

  • I Love Radiohead.

    He is Rapping

Thom is a Real Gansta...for Real

    Is the Ultimate Pimp

  • Thom Gansta XD!

  • im going on a limb here, but seeing as this song is about us ignoring such things as climate change and depletion of fossil fuels, he is showing the audience a sign they can't read to symbolize how we can't know how much time we have left. if there are giant screens, ill say it still symbolizes our time left

  • why do you think every thing Thom does is cryptic?

  • one of my favorite radiohead songs

  • Dio esiste! GRazie Thom!!!!!

  • LOVE Radiohead!!

  • Good Song, The Best Band... Love it!

  • where does he bread in all that ? ahah

  • Thom looks like he's rapping lol

  • He's pretty good at it too

  • Haha, yeah, he kinda does.

  • It says songs...Thom have time for 4 songs total.. xD luv him..he is my hero..

  • i dont understan that, time for 4 song total¿? i dont understand xD

  • He was handed a note at the start by the looks of it, probably from the staff at the gig, saying he had time for 4 more songs, thats what he showed to the audience.

  • Nice :D

  • Man that's hail to the thief's song not ok computer's(ok computer was in 97's and this album, hail to the thief was in 2003):D ;)

  • i think he said POST OK Computer

  • This is probably their best post-OK Computer song. So haunting. I love it.

  • thank god for Radiohead, cream in pants

  • jonny goes crazy!!

  • thom is one hell of a rapper

  • bongs

  • did that say songs or bongs?

  • hahaha awesome

  • omg
