Did you run across any Lachesis Muta Muta's? They are my favorite vipers! Just have to love a snake that evolved, not to mention that they, like the King cobra is the largest venomous snake, Bushmasters are the largest of the vipers. I've read and watched a lot of Dean Ripa's stuff, who has the largest breeding collection of them in captivity - at Cape Fear Serpentarium in Wilmington NC.

BTW - At the reptile show, you didn't happen to run across Al Cortez did you? who is Youtubes Viperkeeper?

I was just commenting to my wife about how you could see the intelligence in the eyes of a king cobra we had just seen yesterday at a reptile shop. Poisonous snakes are not my thing but there really are some beautiful examples out there and that is one of them!

@51supernova50 I'm right there with ya, Venomous snakes are awesome but I don't keep any, I think they are ONLY for a select few who know how to properly deal with them. These Cobra's though seem as if when they look at you, they are figuring you out.

@LuckilyLevi The Venomous display was over the top. Gaboon, Cobras, a Bazillion different Rattle Snakes. HUGE Props to the Arizona Herp Society for putting it is and to Upscale Reptile's for doing the show.
