I've found you can work each muscle around 6 times per day. However, you want to space time out in between so the muscle doesn't feel "over treated."
Start with your lower abs as well. Most back problems aren't solely from imbalanced abs. It's such a simplified explanation to say "strengthen your abs and your back pain will go away." You've got lower abs, obliques, and upper abs. Lower abs provide the most stabilization for your lumbar spine/low back.
Glad you found relief. The ball really works wonders, especially as you get better at the self-treatment and refine it. Keep practicing! It's important to hold points around 8-12 seconds until it releases, and then move on to the next point. Try not to hold one point too long. Also, if you "flip" over a muscle, try to do it in one direction, rather than back and forth. This way it releases the muscle more efficiently. Good luck!
when i got off the floor after completing this, my wife thought i was a idiot to tell her this actually worked wonders. i got more results from this little ball than visiting my chiropractor/massage therapist. all i can say is wow
anybody who thinks this is stupid should try it first
