So when Bardock tried to defend plant Vegeta he was sent back into time to be the first Super Sayian. Chilled, then was the first to witness such a being and made sure that his family (Being the frezza, cooler etc..) Knew about Sayians. My question is, how was Bardock in the present time (Meaning when Frezza was about to destory Plant Vegeta) When Frezza motives on destroying the plant was because there was a legend about a super sayian when Bardock himself WAS that Legend Frezza spoke of? 0.0

First Bardock got hit with Freiza blast, but the magnetite of the blast cause a time wort making Bardock be sent to the past. Which explain Bardock injuries at the beginning. However, I think the legend of the Sayian got spread all over the universe. In the battle between Vegeta and Goku, Vegeta spoke of the vast intelligence of Goku's dad. So bring into question... is it possible Bardock created a spaceship to travel in space.

@jamesleiv21 You are way off, the super sayain tale was legendary tale that had been passed down form generation to generation by the sayian before wither goku or vegata were born.I think the blast sent bardock through time, clean and simple. The REAL question is what happened next???

Ok i understand the story now. Eventually bardock died of old age but the legend lived on because of chilled and the people from planet plant. Later on the saiyans took over what was then called planet tuffle and thats where the whole story began.

Hey real DBZ fans can yall help me? This thing has been bothering me for sometime now. Why is it that when piccolo fought lord slug he didn't increase his size? I mean he did it in dragon ball and also against garlic jr. But why did he remember namekians weakness but forget that he too was a super namekian? Did the writers forget? Or did piccolo forget?

Also, if he was in the past, doesn't that mean he would eventually live to see Frieza and destroy him? If not, and he died of natural causes, DOESN'T that mean that Bardock technically never got killed by Frieza? Chilled passed it on to his future relatives, THEN doesn't that mean that Frieza was originally scared of Bardock?

And if Bardock was from the past, and he could turn SSJ, he could've killed Frieza...

I'm confused.

Assuming he is still in his own timeline to begin with, anyway. Future Trunks explained in DBZ that his time travel machine actually only allowed him to hop to alternative timelines, instead of travelling back into his own timeline. Might be a limitation of his machine, or have to do with the ...
