  • @michellesvideosuk It said on the 45 shown in video that it is Duane Eddy & the Rebelettes

  • @MsKat1027 The Rebelettes are the Blossoms, it is one their many aliases, they also used many other names even though the Blossoms were their offiicial name, It is Darlene Love doing the lead on this song too, I have an article on where Darlene remembered doing this song behind Phil Spectors back and he found out and asked her if it was her and she told him it was her sister as she said if she had of told him it was her and the Blossoms he would have fired them, but he knew it was her. Lol. xxxx

  • Does anyone remember a Duane Eddy track called Lone Guitar from the early 70s? Not one of his best but it really reminds me of a specfic time and place. I used to hear in Holland a lot - maybe it was a European release only? Can't find any record of it anywhere. Grateful for any help - thanks

  • @ashie259

YES I do remember it . for some reason, I tie that song to Annette Funicello... I think she might have done a song like it.

It was alive and well in Canada in the late 50's

  • @sparwood8 On second thought, (I just searched for it) That was a different song. Annette sang that one, but DE had a differnt song... I vaguely remember it though... 50 years ago, hey?

  • Some good news for Duane Eddy Fans. An all new CD is finally due from Duane Eddy. Look for "Artifacts Of Twang" in the near future. Some of the songs on the new CD are . "Thats The way It was When We Started To Rock And Roll". "Purgatory" and "You'll Love Again After I'm Gone".

  • I grew up with this song! GREAT STUFF!

  • Must have been some 45 years that I have it last time....Fantastic

  • @chiradejd I have the 45 it looks just like that and that is the correct jacket for it!

  • they are "DARLENE LOVE AND THE BLOSSOMS', KNOWN HERE AS THE"REBELETTES"

  • Thank you for the information lajas46!

  • Some dirty s.o.b. has been pulling a bunch of Duane Eddy's music off of U-Tube. there ought to be a law against that. FUN SPOILERS1!

  • @sparwood8 I think that there is a law against that - it's called the American Constitution. Most people ignore that nowadays, though,so what can ya do.

  • @apk1215 Well, what I did was get a downloader that copies anything on U Tube.. so I can play off line, and WMG can go to hell

  • He is great! Way to play Duane!

    And thanks for sharing.

  • Point your pals to this Duane Eddy ... Just search his music in the U tube search bar. ALL = Good
