There is a difference between mercy and justice. Both of these laws had to be observed in order for us to return to heaven. Jesus in his mercy was sacrificed for us, because we as normal, sinful, people could not pay the price ourselves. well, well. I came across this vid by acident and although its quite good editing and a nice story, that is all it is. i long for the day when every body on earth realises that 'god' (all gods) are somthing we made up a long ass time ago
(even cave man times) to counter-act the fear of things we didn't understand and were afraid of. but i guess no-one will acept that you'll cary on living in ya little 'bubble of belief'. your born, you live for 70-80 years, you die, your corpse rots thats it!
Think about it... try to figure that one out... on your own man... If what Christianity claims to be true is indeed true... why is it true? and if it is true? Where does that leave us? as humankind....
Honestly? It leaves into the hands of something that abuses its infine power by endorsing homophoby, xenophoby and chauvinism with no decent arguments for them. Futhermore, it let humankind fall into sin by always knowing it would happen yet not preventing it with its infine power. It also judges people on the basis of whether they follow a set of, in my opinion, not very good arguments for its existence. Lastly, its followers are one of the main causes of war, hate and scientific regression.
To continue, as I said, I do not find the arguments for God's existence convincing at all. Even if I did find the proof convincing, I would understand the viewpoints of others and be critical at God: Why give some shabby evidence and save people on the basis of blind faith? Isn't that a masterful plan for earthly leaders to fool people into following them, telling them to follow God? Is it of good morale to save believers and judge those, who think for themselves while making others happy?
All in all, what I am aiming at is that if what Christianity claims to be true turns out to be the truth, I would be very sad indeed. Not only because of the I-go-to-hell part, but even more of the wrongful judgement God smites onto some of us, who try our best to make the world a better place but just don't happen to believe in God.

There is an old video of a guy's son that comes on the track and sacrifices his son to save those on the train. I'm really trying to find that video. It's from the 70's, 60's maybe. I'm not sure but it's old. That is the one I want.
since adam and eve sinned, the punishment was death. so God gave his one and only son to die for us on the cross to so we wouldn't have to. that doesn't mean that you won't die in the future, it means you have a chance to rise from the dead and live forever in heaven.

You have to go back to the old testament. People were required to offer a spotless lamb to push their sins ahead a year. It wasn't until Jesus, the ultimately sacrifice, was crucified that the sins were actually forgiven. So to answer your question, it would not have been better if Jesus live, because we would all be eternally condemned. This video is only a tool to bring the story alive and make it easier to understand. Hope that helps some...

In order to be completely and totally forgiven, we needed a perfect, spotless human sacrifice. Animals coudn't work anymore because they did not forgive sins, only push them ahead. Teaching for a longer period of time would have helped, but the sins would not be forgiven. Since Jesus was God manifest in the flesh, it was like God was taking on the sins of the world and casting them, according to scripture, as far as the East is from the West. Hmm, there are to many things people miss. Like the fact the kid tried to save them , and even though he didnt realize it he helped kill himself. And so the same could be said about the people on the train. It all works like a big domnio effect that you can trace backwards. Cause and effect, maybe if we decied to read it we can change it and at the same time not . It's all about what you'r goin for. And that's why god set it up like that. For he is quite neutral.

I watching this and wondering why doesn't the religious message at the end fit the video at all, but finally it said 'Scenes from the movie "Most"'. It was a tragic story, really, but it was just that. I can't really connect this to the story of Jesus.

The bible was written by a tribe of desert nomads and later by Romans. It has quite a few instances of war and genocide, both portrayed in a positive light as being instructions by god, so I don't know how you get peace out of that. Honestly? It leaves into the hands of something that abuses its infine power by endorsing homophoby, xenophoby and chauvinism with no decent arguments for them. Futhermore, it let humankind fall into sin by always knowing it would happen yet not preventing it with its infine power. It also judges people on the basis of whether they follow a set of, in my opinion, not very good arguments for its existence. Lastly, its followers are one of the main causes of war, hate and scientific regression.

Even if I did find the proof convincing, I would understand the viewpoints of others and be critical at God: Why give some shabby evidence and save people on the basis of blind faith? Isn't that a masterful plan for earthly leaders to fool people into following them, telling them to follow God? You have to go back to the old testament. People were required to offer a spotless lamb to push their sins ahead a year. It wasn't until Jesus, the ultimately sacrifice, was crucified that the sins were actually forgiven. So to answer your question, it would not have been better if Jesus live, because we would all be eternally condemned. This video is only a tool to bring the story alive and make it easier to understand. Hope that helps some...

In order to be completely and totally forgiven, we needed a perfect, spotless human sacrifice. Animals coudn't work anymore because they did not forgive sins, only push them ahead. Teaching for a longer period of time would have helped, but the sins would not be forgiven. Since Jesus was God manifest in the flesh, it was like God was taking on the sins of the world and casting them, according to scripture, as far as the East is from the West. it may have portrayed the sacrifice that Jesus made for us, but there are two main differences: first, the people inside the train dont know someone died for thier salvation..we know Jesus died for us.

Hmm, there are to many things people miss. Like the fact the kid tried to save them , and even though he didnt realize it he helped kill himself. And so the same could be said about the people on the train. It all works like a big domnio effect that you can trace backwards. Cause and effect, maybe if we decied to read it we can change it and at the same time not . It's all about what you'r goin for. And that's why god set it up like that. For he is quite neutral.
