  • haha spot on Hull accent.

  • Sounds like Barnsley to me.

"Er Ner, Wer Oh Ma Boo-wits?"

("Oh no! Where are my boots?")

  • "AAM FRAM LANDAAN N WEE TAWK LOIK DIS". Southern muck.

  • It sounds like a cross between a Manchester and an East Yorkshire accent - how did you miss out West Yorks in the middle???

  • @aragornthebrave or East Lanchashire. Seriously, it's a place :) I was used to live in Rossendale. Sunny little place it is.

  • LAME !!!!! lame lame lame !

  • ITS A JURKE

  • WHAT A PILE OF SHIT, SORRY.... "SHITE"

  • lmao

  • The northern accent just as the south/east/southeast and south west varies from county to county and even town to town.

People in yorkshire for instance cannot say 'the' and their mouths would instantly fizz up with throth and fall with their legs in the air at any attempts at saying it.

  • shuda jus lived there for a year, theyd of soon picked it up, they dont sownd nufin like em either :L

    thanks

  • lol, I like the ending... nice humour, well done, 5*

  • These whimps don't seem to mind embarrasing themselves do they ? The North starts at Sheffield and ends up north of Newcastle.( unless your comming from Scotland lol ) The northern accents are as different from each other as Mancunian is to London. The Northern English accent has only one universal trait in common and that is that we dont sound like southern pansies.

  • @ALBIONTYKE so true!

  • Who the chuff says Kirk? or smirk for smoke?

am sure even Southern folk will agree this a pile of wank

  • @LUFC896 You've obviously never been to Hull

  • This is well funny...love the way he just adds 'chuck' on the end of that 'can I have a coke please'.

They're both speaking a bizarre mish-mash of scouse, manc and yorkshire accents

  • sounds pure yorkshire to me.

  • Oh my god, yorkshire sounds nothing like that. We dont say Kerk for coke, we say Kurk, and smoke isnt smerk, its smurk. God you southerners have no idea.

  • The title reads 'Northern', not Yorkshire, there are more Northern areas than Yorks...

The accent they are copying is North Eastern -Tyneside etc.

  • lol sound nowt like that, lol the shaved head one sounds like a reight chav, good laugh to have though lmao

  • im from the the north and i sound nout like that lol. It sounds like manchester/leeds, northern accent, no such thing lol. funny though1

  • I think too many people commenting on this video are taking it WAY too seriously. For christ's sake, it's a joke - get a sense of humour and stop being so offended about a comedy sketch. They're almost as bad as those hysterical kneejerk Daily Mail readers that expressed their HORROR and DISGUST and SHOCK at the Jonathan Ross/Russell Brand radio show that they didn't listen to.

Anyway - this sketch made my face do a smiley noise.

    And I'm a Manc :)

    With a sense of humour.

    (and a profile :-P)

  • Thanks teamfishcake. I've long been a fan of your work. I remember seeing your Brasseye parody many moons ago.

  • Look north is one of the funniest things iv ever seen. peace and props from a very proud yorkshireman.

  • mostly Manc

  • the guy on the right is more manc, the fella on the left is more yorkshire

  • I feel sorry for you sad, little lettucy southerners!!

As all great luminaries state of the Yorkshire accent, which is not what we hear here (Lord knows what it is they're speaking), but will use as the greatest example of the Northern 'accent',

"We don't have an accent, this is what English sounds like, Dickheads"!

  • Yorkshire accent most trustworthy in accent in Enlgand

and thats the worst attempt of Northern accent and dialect that ive heard from southners

  • Yup that's a mix of places like Manc and Hull.

  • Exactly.

  • That's manc

  • er this is bollocks we can actually.. take and pronounce properly

  • yeh funny, but thats just a weird chav from manc talk. Not proper yorkshire

  • that aint northern thats yorkshire.
