  • It's funny all the Illinois fans bitching... You had two NFL talents and you still couldn't beat the worst Michigan defense of all time. :P We got to play a big boy opponent because we have a rich history, and oh yeah, we had a better record than you. We got our butts kicked, sure, but at least we were invited.

  • Looks like Michigan just got handed what it deserved! GO ILLINI! We were robbed in that game, but justice has been served today.

    52-14!!!

  • @idlewild until you guys even win a big bowl game...STFU

  • @goblue212 52-14, baby. 52-14.

Jake Fisher going to Michigan? Nope! Oregon!

  • @idlewild Illinois getting a good recruiting class...nope.....illinois being on top of the big ten....nope....michigan beating them 67 - 65....yes.

  • @idlewild robbed? lol u flat out lost

  • i can't understand, when Illinois scores that is not a highlight of the game ???? then change the name of the video "..... michigan highlights" ....pathetic

  • @chyzhr the video title is accurate: "Michigan highlights". You just can't read. Illinois scoring is not a Michigan highlight.

  • @chyzhr you are acting like a piece of crap

  • @chyzhr Sorry, it was that way from the beginning. And you still can't read.

  • Awesome Highlights

  • I don't know if this will mark the turning point of the 2010 season or the currently failed dickrod era, but no matter what happens, this game will go down as one of the top 10 in Wolverines history, at least IMO. Only the 1999 Orange Bowl and maybe the 2005 Penn State game was more exhilerating.

    GO BLUE!

  • @Poole1Dan I don't have a problem with RichRod at the moment, but it's that clown Greg Robinson at DC who needs to be unemployed after this season's over.

  • @commodorefan2 we'll agree to disagree on rodriguez. As for GERG......I won't shed a tear if he's fired, but saying he's responsible for what went wrong is kind of like saying Tony Franklin is responsible for what went wrong at Auburn's offense in 2008. Its pretty damn clear Robinson is being forced to run a defense that he has no familiarity with (the 3-3-5), and that dickrods cronny assistants are subverting his authority as d-coordinator.

  • @commodorefan2 On top of that, dickrods assistants are just down right shitty, from Bruce Tall to Adam Braithright to Tony Gibson (as well as Scott Shafer in 08 and Jay Hopson in 08 and 09). And while the secondary has a dearth of talent and experience, the d-line and linebackers do not....but they just gave up 357 yards rushing and 6 touchdowns to a team that ran the ball 29 straight times. Thats all coaching right there, and I blame it on the position coaches first and foremost

  • GO BLUE!!!

  • wat happend to robinson this time i went to go play football after the 1st quarter and missed this game. apparently i should miss games more often.

  • *24 points to ohio st*

  • Lets take alot of good out of this, the defense got alot of stops in the second half.Demmons and Gordan played good football for that defense all day and we scored 67 points on a defense that only allowed 17 to Ohio St!!!! this could be a turning point for the season cuz with 3 straight losses the pressure of a repeat of last season was resting heavy on this teams back.

  • @PNAS99 how can this be a defensive turnaround? they let up 65 points, you are just grasping at straws man lol

  • @patmeg WHEN I SAY TURNING POINT,i mean TEAM.The defense actually got stops in the second half and only allowed 14 points in 3rd and 4th qtr.If the offense would of scored some more points we could have ended this game in regulation. Its positive's that can be carried over to the next game that wasnt there in the penn, mich st,and iowa lost.In those games,We couldnt even get the ball back to comeback, especially the penn st game...watch the game again!!! GO BLUE!!

  • @PNAS99 yah they made some plays, but still they got worked. I honestly do think they could win out the rest of the season. i agree i think the positive win will help the D alot, they need to start recruiting MICHIGAN defensive players, 4 and 5 star recruits like we are perfectly able of doing. Rich Rod will if he knows whats good for him. Its sickening for me to watch them be this sloppy. Loyd Carr era we would shut this shit down all day lol

  • @patmeg True indeed,i watched the game from home and i liked how Brian Greise imphasized the fact that if RR wants to be sucessful here then he needs to do what Zook did and get rid of defensive staff and bring in new defensive style of coaching...He pretty much aired him out on tv.lol i liked that,he said what we all as Michigan fans been saying since last year. The staff is stubborn, cuz we dont have the beef of front rite now to run that kinda D.The front line has to b dominant! need a 4-3

  • @PNAS99 yah definitely, i think greg robinson is a good play caller for sure, cause he has called the right plays in certain situations but the players just fuck up. But also i think he has been so used to the NFL he hasn't teached funamentals enough. I mean what happened to if u come to Michigan to play defense in the secondary, "U TACKLE" lol. 3-3-5 is a joke for the players they have right now. Needs lots of improvement. God i hope they beat ohio state, hate those weak fuckers so much

  • @patmeg

I WILL say that you have probably made the most accurate assessment of Greg Robinson I've ever seen. Well done.

  • gracias, i hope things just get better, especially defensive recruiting, its ridiculous the people they are picking up and offering scholarships, like they can actually excel and compete in the big ten.

  • @patmeg Cant agree much more!!

  • @PNAS99

Illinois' defense looks pretty good, but "do what Ron Zook did" is almost always a recipe for failure. However, if someone like Jeff Casteel wants to come here, we probably shouldn't refuse.

  • @TheZooCrew Well yea, that's what i mean.It would have to be someone with a great history of collegiate success,We definatly dont want a guy who gonna have everybody scratch their head.I like RR,the offense is a beast especially when they play turnover free, but he has make a quick turnaround for next season if wants his job past 2011.

  • @patmeg

"they need to start recruiting MICHIGAN defensive players, 4 and 5 star recruits like we are perfectly able of doing. "

Rich Rod has been doing this since day 1. We had six 4 and 5 star defensive backs either committed or on our roster in February. All of them either got hurt (Woolfolk, Emilien), left the team (Cissoko, Turner, Warren), or did not show up (Dorsey) for some reason. That's unlikely to repeat.

  • @patmeg

This is a defensive turnaround because we turned the ball over FIVE TIMES and still won.

  • excellent video man, go blue!
