  • part 3 is blocked how can I watch it?

  • @viperfan100 not sure

  • The truck driver, was he a sort cross between map to the stars eddie and fucking jack burton!:L cos that was awesome, he said some of the things he said! all in all though, this is really good :)

  • The inclusion of Carjack Malone and Texas Mike O'Shay made me very happy.

  • Locations is anothr thing that stood out to me. I read the comments you've mentioned Jersey was still functioning - but green grass and clear sky's doesn't go with the 'Escape' theme. If you try at it again at some point choose some dusty rusty places it'll bring up your element. Don't let this get you down I sincerely rooting for you bro, just some remarks for improvement - I'm no big shot either. Last comment try to avoid under-exposed faces light is your friend - respect it or you lose detail

  • @sfedorov apart from new york, the united states, i assumed was in pristine condition- thus green grass and nice skies. and unless a good Sumatran decides to bank roll me, i dont think i can afford another story.

  • @blinky500 Anyways respect your effort and there is a lot of growth in your work. Have you considered adding a cinematographer to your team? I'm not selling, in Bangkok myself right now. It helps the picture a lot. Doesn't have to be pro one, you can recruit a skilled photographer, it'd take a load off your shoulders and the result would be even greater.

  • @sfedorov 1. i dont have money to hire out. 2. i have yet to find anyone who matches my style. 3. i prefer to learn as i grow.

  • @blinky500 I wasn't suggesting to hire out. There are many people out there who want to build their portfolios. With the unemployment rate surely there are 'unemployed' people who have 'the gift' concerning photography/cinematography.. Concerning your style and learning, with a guy who has lots of experience with photography/cinematography you will learn faster, you will still have your style, with an upgrade.

  • Excellent idea and you chose the right cast. I must say this the tool you chose for the job was not. I hope you capture that guy again at some point with a decent camera that has manual controls (over-exposed whites and under-exposed faces is not good). Aside from what I mentioned it's still very watchable - I love Carpenter's 'Escape' movies, and I've enjoyed watching your Halloween tribute also. Will keep watching. You have talent bro I wish you the best and keep refining your skill.

  • Haha, I love the Jack Burton appearance...you guys should have done a whole Russell/Carpenter trifecta and thrown in a cameo by R.J. "Fuck you, too!!" MacCready!

  • This might be just a fan film but your research in impeccable. You should be commended on your dedication to Carpenters work.

  • @silvereagle2061

Yeah, I was just gonna say! The filmmakers had everything down to Snake's limp from the first movie!

  • Hector DeLa Rosa does a decent job as Snake. It's tough to follow such a legendary performance from Kurt Russell. I think he should have studied the role of Snake just a little bit more. He is to expressive and reactive to things. If you watch Kurt in EFLA, he hardly reacts to anything and mostly keeps a neutral face. When Carjack and that goon sat down, Kurt probably would have continued eating and not even looked at him. Hector does a really good job but he just narrowly misses it.

  • First of all if you are baseing the way Snake Plissken should act based on Escape fron L.A. you are the one that misses the mark. That film was the worst peice of crap I have ever seen in my life, 57 million dollars spent to spawn a this turd of a movie. L.A. is not Snake Plissken, it is a sorry attempt at bad comedy at best. I could go on, but I wont. I appreciate critisism, but have to say that I have studied Snake since EFNY which was made in 81. Watch it , learn it, live it...

  • @plisskenrules I meant no offense when it came to my comment. I understand the hate for EFLA but I think most of it is undeserved. It was a different decade when it was made. Action movies were over the top and ridiculous. EFLA was a product of the decade and unfortunately it was not a successful one. To say the movie is horrible or that in LA that wasn't Snake is unfair. If anything, what stayed true to NY was Snake himself. The movie suffers from campiness, similar plot and bad special effects

  • @plisskenrules But at the end of the day, it's still Snake Plissken. I enjoyed EFLA very much and even though it is not better than EFNY, it's still a fun movie that has Snake in it. I find people only hate it because they feel it didn't live up to the sequel but the people who actually liked it are people who can separate the two movie and watch it for what it is and those who haven't seen EFNY and don't have the same impossible expectations.

  • And...again...the guy playing Jack Burton did an excellent job.

  • It will sound pretty pathetic...but it makes me happy to see him finally eat something.

The guy playing Carjack Malone is very good.

  • Also...this guy playing Snake does a WAY better job than what Gerard Butler would do. Kurt Russell is an impossibly hard act to follow.

  • This really is very well done. Excellent job to everyone who worked on this.

  • Please make more of the escape from movies and I know you ended Punisher 79-82 but i love those

  • Awesome fan film! Please make more!

  • lol carjack malone before she became a she, and jack burton. Classic, good fan film and the guy who plays Snake does a good job. Kurt Russell has to see this.

  • You gotta read the novelization from Escape from new york. Its better than the movie.

  • This is much better than part 1 (except for the Jack Burton bit)

  • they should make a series with thisw guy, this is great work!!

  • @eville62 i did. 4 parts to be exact.

  • ooo I like the bracelet!! WOOT SHE ISNT DEAD!!! but then again I guess if you date a man like that you have to be a bit stronger then the average flower ...cant they let him eat? ...why is it a woman can find a man no matter where but men cant find eachother with a map? ...hehe Jack!! ...I gotta ask, are you really driving?

  • @MissMagdelaine nope. just had texas mike shaking the truck for me.

  • @blinky500 aawwww....

  • Ha! Kurt Russell meets his alter-ego!

  • He does have a good likeness to Kurt Russell!!!

  • Nice job there Chris!

  • Coool

  • ...that a Megatron scope on that Magnum?

  • AMAZING!!!

    Can't wait for Parts 3 & 4 !!

  • Nice!!!!!

  • this is awsome!!! plz make more!!!

  • pre-surgery CARJACK MALONE?!? You thought of everything!!!

  • the appearance of jack burton was a nice touch

  • This is just F#%king GREAT!! can't wait for part 3. You need to do one on John Carpenters the Thing and Russels character R.J. McReady he was alive at the end with Daivid Kieth. How does it play out a sos was sent another research group finds them etc... I think it would be intresting.

  • @1liger its july, no snow around here for miles.

  • @1liger It's Keith David LOL

  • @1liger

No it wouldn't. Continuing that story, even for non-profit, would be the worst idea ever. The ending was perfect and thats where it should always lie. The Thing was definitely a one off kind of thing.

  • So, is your character supposed to be like Cabby or Map to the Stars Eddy?

  • @JoystickPictures what? no. its jack burton. kurt russell's other most famous character. where have you been the past 25 years?

  • @blinky500 oh ok. I haven't seen Big Trouble yet. I'll be sure to give it a watch.

  • Great video Chris!!! Awesome

  • I absolutely love the Jack Burton cameo. Great job man, you keep makin em, we'll keep watchin em.

  • 00:27 ooooh yeah, THOSE are pants!

  • imagine if kurt russell were to participate in this....it would have been awsome.

  • Love your work, keep it up!

  • Great work! If I had to nitpick I'd say that the fight scene needed to be a little bit more enthusiastic and when Snake opens up the revolver and spun the cylinder you could see clearly that it was unloaded. I only offer this nitpicking as constructive criticism to satisfy any perfectionist that is inside you.

You are doing great and I can truly appreciate the effort that it takesto make stuff of this quality. Hope you keep it up!

  • @gswatt35 the gun is supposed to be unloaded. and it will play a part in part 3. but good eye though.

  • Oh my God!!! Carjack Malone and Texas Mike O'Shay!!! XD

  • Awesome! I can't wait for part lll.

  • Nice work.... great characters... good flow...

  • @ToughSpots thanks. just be ware of those 12 ft tall man yetties.

  • That was cool, great cinematography! =-)

  • haha, this is fucking badass. I wish you lived around here...we have some dark fucked up lookin places you could use for filming.

  • Biker #2 looks like a uber-buff Streeter from collage humor

  • Excellent job guys as always! Especially Mr. Hector. Bravo man!

  • I demand bloopers!

  • I lke the way you re-used Jack's dialogue from Escape BTiNJ in both the truck and meeting scenes.

  • @denton908 seemed a waste of funny dialog to not reuse it.

  • god damn...what a jackass haha

wow thats convenient u show up

  • Is that a scope on a handgun?

  • @0BatGirl0 yes

  • fantastic

  • Mr notarile u make an awsome jack

  • @MrLookatmenow thanks.

  • You're fucking amazing, man! You & Hector just keep blowing my mind. How do you get all these excellent locations? I can barely get anyone to lend me anything in Chicago.

  • @NickMichalak i ask politely.

  • Great as always. BTW, You ever thought about doing a follow-up (basically a loose sequel) to Big Trouble in Little China? You already got the perfect Jack.

  • @595moore havent yet. i would need a better camera man as i cannot clone myself just yet.

  • awesome
