Union bosses just want this bill so they can increase membership, further fatten their pockets, and extend their control over the workplace and the DNC. And employees who want this bill just want it so they can get a union and mooch off their employer with free healthcare and pensions and all thoes fringe benefits out the ass. Unionism nowadays is nothing like it was in the Progressive Era. Back then, unions actually stood for something. Now they stand for bankrupting business.

Why are people so freaked out? If an employer is paying a good wage, good benefits and treating workers with respect then the unions pose no danger to them
Wait I know they dont want workers to have any political power thats what all the union bashing is about!

The Employee Free Choice Act is a misnomer, said AHA Executive Vice President Rick Pollack. It takes away employees right to a private vote and replaces caregivers best judgment with an outsiders opinion.
Do not support this bill, because it does not support employees rights to free and fair elections.

Deemos911, you are misinformed. The secret ballot is not eliminated as an option. What is added is the majority card check, so that employees have the option of choosing either one. The harassment from employers usually comes during the amount of time between the scheduling of a secret ballot and the actual election. In any case, now employees would have their choice.
