  • unbelievable

  • coming to a cinema near you :P

  • These guys are chronic dorks. No more manned missions uggg.

  • See my unpublished NASA image of several 6 point David’s star enlarged from photosatellite from Mars planet. It's near of Cydonia face:

    webspace.webring.com/people/or/ramonetriu/estrellasdemarte.html

  • Anyone who didn't do drugs &\or drop out of high school before gaining a degree in physics would know PIXAR ANIMATED will get the contract for the manned Mars Mission as a distraction to America's next major war or economic meltdown & you'll either see Johnny Depp or Russel brand voiceover the role of lead Astronaut & see Robin Williams voiceover the gay-god slash robotic ET while Chevy Chase will voice the Hawaiian Negro playing a double role with himself as the two leaders of the free world...

  • send peadophiles on a 1 way trip 2 mars.

  • We wil get to mars in the next 50 years then in the next 200 - 400 probably live there but knowing are luck Olympus mon will expode ( the biggest volcano in our solar system 100x bigger then the largest on earth ) Then were all f***ed :\

  • is it true that nasa is thinking about a project where they sent 5 people to mars but without a return to earth

  • Cool!

  • The video compilation "UFO Disclosure A Global Deception Conspiracy" ON

YOUTUBE is a disclosure of major lies and with held

information regarding life outside of Earth. The footage contains statements

from astronauts, American presidents, military personnel, politicians plus

credible news footage. The compilation contains revelations regarding

awareness of life beyond Earth along with it's current and ongoing presence

which is being hidden from the public + more.

  • i want to go to mars and walk on mars

  • @tomanyasses who wouldn't?

  • These one-shot throw hardware away missions are a waste too. I wish that we could combine the pure science with some practicality. Something like investigating asteroids and meteorite compositions for their impact properties and for their "useful material" properties as well.

The longshot mars mission and expense could probably go toward establishing a permanent presence nearby. Start developing a capability for catching and using asteroids/ meteors rather than fearing them.

  • NASA: "Phoenix Mars Mission"

  • Yuck, this video is just too much. 50 seconds in, I don't know if something to with with Mars is going to happen, or if a SWAT team is going to bust in and shoot some terrorists.

  • 4:00 halo Reach jetpack?

  • those damm beatles all you need love all you need is a job and a hair cut you do know you could use me for this task

  • those damm beatles all you need love all you need is a job and a hair cut

  • do their vehicles return back after accomplish the task ???

    or it is impossible ???

  • @learning112233 Sadly they don't...the rover on mars will continue to transmit data until it dies or something. However your idea would be a great one to have as a goal. Right now all they build are rovers capable of analyzing the rocks and sending back the data. now if we could bring the rocks back.....

  • @CMEMillennium

    mmmm

so in this case we cant Analyzes say " Martian soil " in earth labs .

    thanks for the instigating information

  • Americans once again made a beautiful movie, but no scientific results. Russia will be the first on the red planet. We will conquer the Red Planet for the red country.

  • @mphet26 doubt it, but russia did get this idiot country (usa) to get to the moon ,if wasnt for russia pushing the traveling to outer space usa would still be playing like a third world country.

  • Please man send humans to Mars!! would be great intertainment, they should make PAY per view when NASA launch manned mission. And give the money uncut for NASA's new upcomming missions.

  • i just wanna punch the guy in the face without the glasses as hard as i possibly can.

  • we should spend all the money on warfare on exploring and finding new place for humans to live

  • @local1114 nah, wars fun.

  • This is hilarious.

  • cant wait till 2018

  • Comment removed

  • azzamalamriki clearly with your phenomenal ability to mass down the caps lock key and your obvious desire to obsess over something, I would think you certainly have a degree in which to conclude your opinion. However, seeing that you're inability to type coherently let alone put together a full sentence, I am sure you are yet to even see the outside of a college or university.

Thank you for your stupidity. It makes the rest of the population look smart.

  • You use a specially designed parachute and only to slow down, not to land.

  • Good Question Ranillon. The atmosphere is so thin that parachutes only work on Mars when the vehicle is traveling very fast during re-entry. Then to slow down enough to avoid damage it had to use rocket thrusters to set down on the surface.

  • they waste so much money on Iraq can they even afford to go to mars poor americans

  • @sankalp14 tell that to mr barack

  • langweilig

  • NASA LOL...

  • great

  • the intro

is like some call of duty 4 game

where the write something on the screen

  • awsome

  • the intro is so intense

  • Wall-e ? :p

  • what a negative nancy, maybe u can go back and clean up.. hippie..

  • its like putting a drop of food coloring into the ocean. no big deal. if you feel like it needs to be cleaned up, i agree with volcomskaterdude, go buy a jet pack off of ebay, and pick it up yourself. u might need to invest in a space helmet as well, and make sure u get one of thoose extra power full jet packs because the one i boght doesnt even work. also buy a laser gun, the one i bought is currently being shipped. also u need one of thoose radiation shields while passinfgthrough the van allen

  • well, yeah, that is eventually true, but it won't be that big of deal for awhile. I mean the moon shit is still on the moon, and it's a piece of history for god's sake! lol

  • LOL, are you serious?

  • WoW

  • You will be ok.

  • wow... this vid sort of makes me feel a bit clueless. everything's so... complicated.

  • And too think they dumbed it down a lot.....don't worry...You don't have to understand it; they DO...lol..

  • lol. true that.

  • i LIKE the Voyager 2 and the apollo 11

  • oh. that's flippin cool!

  • Welcome to mars marine!

  • This is not doom 3....sorry.

  • LOL!

  • i love this video

    hehe vM

  • I´m with you trendgil

  • That was an amazing views,,

    and good job for NASA.

  • whats wrong with the voices ? :D hahahaha darth vader speaking!!!

  • impressive

  • very impressive !

  • Go science!

  • maybe all the money can be used to solve problems closer to home like poverty..just an idea..of course space exploration is important too..

  • fuck your problems and stupid ass little problems people have on earth...shit is useless to work on fixing poverty or crime, its NEVER gonna end anyway

  • lol deep space

  • Kosmos jest piękny

  • USA military budget $623 billion (est.)

NASA (funding by US)$17 billion (est.)

NASA's funding is about 0.58% of the total US anual budget!

So people who seriously think that these money should be spent on something else is just whining! Space is our future, we should even make the funding larger!

  • I agree we are spending too much more to kill each other than exploring our solar system which WILL save life on earth in the future.

Imagine when we found Hitlers rocket we forgot about them and a comet was coming towards the earth what would we do? Investigation on how to destroy comets have already started.

PS - It is not easy cause when you blow it up all those little peaces would do more damage.

  • really thats alot of money spent if you arent gonna do something that would benefit anything

  • 17 billion dollars is 2.73% of 623 billion...idk where you got 0.58%. But besides that, I do agree with you. I'm a huge outer space fanatic and i love exploring more about it.

  • Why waste money on space exploration when you can spend trillions on death and destruction here at home?

  • lol good one

  • idiot... your death will be a good one.

  • lighten up everyone.. hes being sarcastic!

  • Thanks for those figures. It really helps put the level of military waste into perspective.

  • do you mean the fact that the world's pathetic violence is actually holding us back from doing things like this about 50 years ago by funding schools and professional science projects thus warfare is wasting funds and knowledge on pointless things which should have been incorporasted into astrology instead?? then sure.. your are right.. but if i sarcastically answered what i think you might have meant.. then you are totally wrong...

  • Yes. I was being totally sarcastic. Warfare is such a waste. It is a sham used by those with power to keep power, excercise power, and gain more power. Those who perpetuate warfare are truly the parasites of our society. There is so much to learn about the nature of who/what we are that God must hang his head in shame to see our leaders squander the resources of our world and the fruits of our labors on slaughtering each other.

  • @Boscovius The price of freedom is eternal vigilance. Obviously war is horrible but it should never be forgotten that the liberty and freedom we enjoy today is the result of millions of people having defended it to the death from those that most surely intented to eliminate it.

  • @Boscovius Please man send humans to Mars!! would be great intertainment, they should make PAY per view when NASA launch manned mission. And give the money uncut for NASA's new upcomming missions.

  • @Boscovius i have no idea what this has to do with this video, or what your even talkin about, so, ill just assume that this jibberish means 'blame the chinese'. and ill nod my head knowingly.

  • @Boscovius you making half wit comments you would be the first to start a war if some country came in and killed your wife and children ,now all wars there is greed and bad in them but you must know all the reasons there started what you should do is stop generalizing and saying narrow minded comments.

  • @Boscovius YOur are right on the money literally just like in JFK movie he was executed by CIA and Military Industrial complex for power and Money ...I know only reason space shuttle missions and all other sattelites were for MILITARY purposes...IF I say was a billionaire and owned 500 acres and had hypotetical super capabilities and built let us say A real space craft that flew with UFO capabilities and had tractor trailers dropping metals equipment off every day would this DEMON GOVTallow it?

  • @Boscovius I agreed with your whole comment up until you compared us to God. God is worse than Hitler, and to compare Humanity itself in intelligence and morality is to compare a rose bush to an AK47, if you catch my drift.

  • So when are they doing this shit ? Because i'm gettin sick of all the talk

  • 2009,2011, Oh wait 2015

Sorry we need more money for military budget

    lol

  • There are only 2 ways to advance in science and tech:

    1. By war and killing (almost every technology has it's base in military usage)

    2. By space research and exploration (finding how materials and tech are in extreme conditions, battling extremes and creating new energy sources)

    Which one do you prefer?

  • Ex astris, scientia.

  • put its liek this, the fastest way possible is when you have huge competition between 2 big nations, basically u want a war that will not turn into accualy coflict ie, cold war.

  • it's neccesary search about another energy sources specially magnetic energy, this kind of energy it's the key to transform totally the space research and the better way to propulsion not burning fosil fuels.. this kind of energy it's totally arcaich

  • we have always had the ability to reach futher away than Mars...

  • Some day in the future kids born and raise on Mars will learn about this in their history lessons.

  • go now to mars and die there.....dessert more than mojave.

  • i wanna go to mars!!!

  • lol that guy sounds lyk Ernie from Sesame Street~ ☺

  • This is great and so exciting! How I'd love to show this to my third graders, but I'd be nailed if I got caught going off the scripted lessons and No Child Left Behind mandates my district has to conform to.

I think it would be very inspiring to budding scientists.

  • yes our schools are more like baby siting centers than real learning centers

  • Well, I wouldn't say I'm babysitting. The kids (almost all English Language Learners) are learning and gradually improving in math and language arts, but it is so terribly focused and restricted. No art/humanities, no science, very little social studies, etc. Kids at this age adore doing science experiments.

  • What a waste of money . . .

  • That's what they said about the steam engine before the industrial age

  • That may be true but the steam engine didn't run on an annual budget of 17.318 billion dollars the last time I checked...

  • Which is less than 1% of the federal budget...

  • No, the space programme is not a waste of money. By jumping to that pathetic conclusion you demonstrate arrogance and assumption. I doubt you've ever bothered to research the benefits of the space programme. It's the greatest return on investment ever. Major advances in computing, electronics, medicine, the sciences, and more all owe themselves to the space programme. You have literally no understanding of what the benefits are.

  • Space research leads to knowledge about our changing climate, telecommunications, disaster monitoring, new hospital scanners, and more. Phoenix's mission, for instance, will help us learn more about Earth's Arctic, and how it is affected by climate change (there is a major greenhouse effect on Mars). This is vital research. And then add the millions of jobs created by the space programme. The inspiration of kids. Then remember that it takes up less than 1/4 of a percent of the federal budget.

  • @joshatkins94 Well said! What else is there but to explore the world/s around us???

  • say theres remains of other life forms? then what? that would rewrite alot of books and scare alot of ppl, thats worth checking out and its about time mankind got off its ass to achieve something
