Are u thinking of getting married or is someone you know getting married, cause I don't think you would visit a wedding center just to make a video...??
ohh thank you for making these wedding videos ^^...if you decide to have a wedding in Japan would they allow for a foreign pastor/ priest/ rabbi to do the wedding ceremony?
hahaha love your comments! your videos are very entertaining and funny not only because of the cool and wird stuff in japan but becase of your comments plus your awesome accent, love it! :3
I'm surprised there was no gothic chapel beside it or something. XD best of both worlds? Hope you find a nicer place then that! :) Good luck on your mission!
Maybe the owner of this place got a good deal on left-over stuff (stained glass windows, furniture, etc.) that no one wanted and built this place using this surplus material from overseas.
The trend is that they do both. It's like separating a wedding in 2 parts, first part in western style, then second part with the uchikake(traditional).
You are just finding out why Japanese guys are reluctant to get married. ^_^
In the serious tone, I didn't know it was that expensive and if I understand correctly, that's not a major part of the whole cost? I can't imagine the burden of other Japanese guys have to bear, most of them having a job for a few years with not so spectacular salary.
As I understand, in US(traditionally), the parents of the bride take the burden.
and in the US and Australia we have so many different cultures there that we can do any style.. group of people on the beach or at a park if we want to...
As for the defense of the Japanese people, why the center is mixed with weird combination of everything?
Japanese people don't make the list in most religious enthusiastic people.
It's all about fashion to them, They are ignorant, naive, lazy about religion that I don't know anybody taking any region seriously. In good side, it's makes the country more harmonious than most other places(IMO).
I wonder how many of them knows Christmas is a religious day.
Yes, so few christians here.. i find xmas a bit depressing here because the music plays in the shops.. but they have NO idea about it.. just an "imegi" thing.
The white wedding thing is the same.
ENGLISH language is the same.. they use English words on signs and TV and shirts to give an image but the real meaning is a mystery to them.
They are often surprised when I tell them.
I think you would enjoy or website forum.. we talk about lots of this stuff!
Did ur fiance like it? I think it is pretty but it is a bit cluttered. And they deff mixed a couple styles lol. Have u decided on where u want to get married and what type o wedding? Like r u leaning more toward the Japanese or western style ceremony? Just wondering feel free to ignore the questions lol ^-^
so it costs 20grand?... I am getting married in October and I can tell that you will spend more than that! But it is great, and i am very happy to do so.

Good observation. ^_^
I like their innocence (about religion)though.
After I've seen enough of it in US, I found out that it's more about the leader's agenda and power, not about people's comfort.
I'll check out your forum.

I bet western-styled weddings are becoming more popular, but I wonder what's the percentage now.
I guess the center is good enough for the illusion of a ceremony similar to the ones overseas, but not from any specific region. Oh well!
Idiomaron 2 years ago
its way too dark there and not very nice i would be surprised if anyone actually got married there.
