Ummmmm that isn't a gallop, just a fast canter. Not trying to critique but you can tell by the horse slowing down to a trot->walk instead of canter->trot->walk. If your horse can transition that fast and i'm wrong, kool!

@Swizzler0o actually at the beginning it looked like the horse was in a gallop but then quickly slowed down to a canter. It could very well be the horse was in a gallop before filming started and then slowed down shortly after.

that wasnt a gallop. a gallop is when both of their feet are together. this was a canter.

actually this is my horse and its neither a canter or a gallop as she dis- jointed her self after a few strides. thats why she looks so half canter- half gallop. but why all argue over it? its fun on the beach.. who cares what name you give her paces?

Ehm? All the hooves leave the ground in canter as well. The difference between canter and gallop is that canter is three beat, and gallop is four beat.

HER movements don't prove what speed the horse was going at! I sometimes sit to my horses gallop and move at the waist as it gives more control and when I jump I canter in two-point!
