I thought that was a nice match Gimpy, it seemed intense. Besides those who said that they need to use other moves, I say that metaknight is known for his quick swift blade. Thus it was used nicely, and why use specials that lag and could be more of a con for metaknight instead of a pro.

What's funny is I personal bought Brawl because I wanted a more balanced game... Imagine me and so many others suprises when we saw it be even more unbalanced then melee and to make matters worse so restricted feeling. Almost everyone plays Metaknight and with good reasoning he's just that much better than the rest of the cast! Thus that balance I wanted doesn't exist.

I'll miss Brawl's statistically better but dogsounding Bowser.

First, lucas uses pk fire to blast him over to ness( Who's me)with a charged baseball bat.Ness will hit him over to wolf and wolf will hit him with wolf flash, which should be enough to send him flying away.Pwned!

Metaknight is a top tier character or is going to be. he has a full stage recovery, several quick easy shots, speed is unmatched and has a devestating mid flight game. He and snake are almost banned tier.

Oh yea you can. MetaKnight is different however, he can (as well as others) fly and stall in the air, making characters who cannot do that more or less gimped. that is why in Melee we see characters who can stall in mid air more or less higher in the tiers. Peach, Jigglypuff, Gannon, ect.(Excluding Kirby, who was a lowbie due to an ineffective moveset.)

You do not understand. I am not hating on metaknight fool. I am stating the fact that HE IS top tier. (Or the best character in the game.) Just like Falco was the best in Melee. (If you argue that he is not you fail.) And metaknight does have a decent ground game. And Metaknight's counter is Lucas more or less, not Pit. Learn your facts. :)

Okay here is my last response. Snake and Meta are essentially where fox/falco are now in melee. Metaknight has speed, which makes his ground game good. Spamming moves is ineffective in brawl now. Melee, spamming moves was a good tactic. (Falco blaster wall, if you watch pros)

brawl and melee r very very different it is very hard to completely compare the 2 since all the characters were changed so much its like picking up a new game. and pit isnt even in melee so hes piking up a new character i wulda given u SUM credit if it was the same character. so tht simply means the metausr was the betta playa in geneerl.

you should always shield for one. the less damage you have, the better chance you have to live. second, don't run away. just back off so that you have time to counter your opponent and do more damage. meta knight is a little different than marth though. the reason a person should back off with meta knight is because meta knight is a light weight and even though an opponent may have over 100% damage, meta knight doesn't have many ko moves. it's all about playing smart with him.

well his up b move is his most powerful but in order to be able to ko someone with it, you need to weaken your opponent with his A moves. thats what i mean. a person needs to be able to weaken an opponent without spaming his smash attacks and his up b move since they waken in power over a period of time. you need to mainly use his a moves and then finish them off with a smash or up b move.

I do agree with u. but also dissagree. u don't have to use only a moves to weaken. u could weaken them with b moves. but, his b move is good/useful if ur trying to recover or if ur being attacked from above.
