It's actually really enjoyable o_O and it came with another game, lmao, I got my $10 worth, plus like 3 other games at a cost of $24 XD The kids at gamestop were spending their Christmas money on just one $60 game... I felt proud of myself for buying this game and still do...

I'm just amazed by this game, I had absolutely nothing with strategy games but this game really amazed me. The gameplay is fun, the backgrounds and sprites really, really well done. And the thing that amazes me the most are the effects, I love the glowy and shiny effects. I think this game has one of the best graphics for the ds.

This game is so hectic and challenging. I love it. The art style is what caught me, but the gameplay is amazing. The only thing I would say is that it took me forever to really get was going on in the story, haha.

I originally bought this game for DS and quickly realized that it is almost unplayable for me because I am a lefty. When moving the stylus to select items on the right side of the screen my hand seems to cover up the screen and its just overall awkward using my left hand. So glad they came out with a PSP version.

@Dekar41 Well, Lunar is out now... that's a pretty classic rpg. Then you got Hexyz Force which is new for PSP, it's out now.. Tactics Ogre is coming early next year. PSP is a great rpg machine! You should check out the rpg's on it. You might be surprised.

@Dekar41 I heard that this game actually works better on the PSP than on the DS. Surprisingly not having the extra screen makes it much more focused on one screen, which makes the experience more fluid and compact. And you can make the whisp move around faster too. ***I haven't played this game, this is just hear say from people and reviews. I want to check this game out but I don't want to get burned buying new, as I just recently did with another new game.

Just started playing this a few hours ago and have realized after fighting a few battles I'm at a disadvantage. With they heavy use of the stylus it seems like it was designed with right-handed people in mind. The items are on the right so my hand covers up most of the screen when I use them, and I also notice I frequently accidentally hit the D pad pulling up a menu, which has grown rather irritating. Damn my southpawness!

I remember starting this game up for the first time and skipping all the tutorials - I was like "Meh... Who needs tutorials?".

Oh man... I understood how to attack, but I noticed every attack I did did 2 damage and the slimes had like 700HP, and that's when I understood that I have to equip items. This game has the lenghtiest tutorial of any game I have ever tried the tutorial in.

its a really awesome game and ZeldaDD is right it is very complex. but hes also right that as you go along you start to understand how to play more. i was too impatient and i didnt go through all the tutorial and at first didnt like the game at all. but after my kingdom hearts didnt work i found myself playing it again and i started to get it. once you get into it its very addicting not only because of the story but also due to the team building and variety of items. i would recommend to every1

I only played the demo of the game, and yet I found the battle system simple. you select units, dodge bullets, and collect EXP. aside from that, there are a few elements of gameplay, but anyone can pick up on that.

You're kinda underestimating the complexity of the game. There's more to things than I think you're seeing (probably because it's a demo). Still, that's why there are the tutorials, so you can learn the rules.

There's the Rush abilities, co-ordinating your units so that they can hit the enemy (since they can only turn in certain directions and each have a specific range they can attack within each Phase), the soul fusion and weapon fusions (though powering up the weapons might be more important). Planning things so that you can break open objects to get more weapons/key items to recruit more knights while still fighting the enemy + more

Seems complex to me anyway. I'm having a lot of fun with it.

You definitely get the rules down as you go (it's one of those games where the more you play, the better you understand how the rules work together). Good call with the artbook and soundtrack...the music is great, and the artbook is really cool as well. There's some fantastic art, but be careful...some of it is spoilery until you beat the game.

i have to complain about this game somewhere -_- anyways i just bought this game only to find that after a cutscene you get a character that has nothing to do with what you saw then you can only deal 2 damage per hit on enemies with health over 800 *sigh* how can anyone beat this at ALL?!

lol no man you just need to read carefully: the character you have (probably johann) is a deceased knight (you don't find out how he died until after the battle). You are the soul of a dead king and you recruit deceased knights to battle monsters that "get in the way". you can do more damage by using items that correspond with the current phase (Law or Chaos). Just grab a frozen axe and equip Johann with it and then you'll be killing monsters in one go...you bought a great game don't worry...
