1. Why is a man who tortures & incarcerates his political opponents INVITED to take part in EU `talks ´?

2.Why is the commission so keen to see Croatia join the EU ?

He should be taken before the UN court as the Constitution/Lisbon Treaty is in blatant violation of Article 1 of the International Covernant of Civil and Political Rights :

Article 1 : All peoples have the right to self-determination. By virtue of that right they freely determine their political status and freely pursue their economic and cultural development.

Note the word " freely " !

The legitimicy of the EU commission and his Presidents depends for the european Parlamient!... The european Parlament is elected by all the europeans citizens. there is democracy in Europe!

Wrong my friend, the EU is democracy in reverse or `top down´.

The un-elected commission are the ONLY body allowed to suggest new laws for 500 million Europeans ! This is more akin to the USSR system with it's un-elected politburo.

The whole point of voting people into parliaments is not for politicians to rubber stamp `directives´from an un-elected body !

If Lisbon/the Constitution is good for Europe/EU...then let's vote on it !

The European parliament has legislative power and legitimacy to made new laws, even the council of Heads of State and Government has the power to suggest new laws etc The European Union is democratic. But, off course, we can always improve our democracy and the transparency of European institutions.

Off course only the commission can put new EU legislation, because she represents the executive branch of the EU. The legitimacy of the EU Commission depends of the European Parliament, elected by all the Europeans by free and democratic elections! There is no different from whats happen at national level, where the Government depends from the majority of the Parliament!

There can never be a legitimate EU parliament as it is in breach/violation of the United Nation's International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights :

The only legal means of asking the people is a referendum.

The truth is that even now Robert Mugabe has a greater democratic legitimacy than the EU. Mugabe has been elected often in the past though now his mandate has run out - The EU Commission has NEVER been elected & the peoples of France, Holland & Ireland have VOTED NO to the new constitution/Lisbon Treaty threatening the snouts of the politicians and parasites with losing their troughs on the gravy train. The corrupt central State is determined, like Mugabe, to force new votes for personal gain!

I always get angry when they say terrorism is one of the biggest tasks we face today. The RAF wasn't one to germany, the IRA wasn't to the UK and and the ETA isn't to spain.
