hmmmmm I think I'll go to the local mental hospital and set up a camera in the middle of a hallway to record for... who knows how long... not expecting anything... just felt like hanging out at the nut house with my camera. And... while doing this... I just happened to catch a ghost walking into a room. What incredible luck.

I had it on a tripod and was recording time code, Its a standard practice when using MiniDv. Its when you record on the tape from beginning to end, therefore protecting yourself from a time code break if someone checks the tape or fast forwards the footage while in camera.

Thats kwl, It looks real but why were you leaving the camrea there?

@Terithisa When you get a new DV tape to shoot on, it is common practice to record time code onto the tape, that requires leaving the camera on rec all the way thru before you film.

I've been in that building and had some odd experiences. Including a personal experience where I and another person had to RUN out! BUT this is truly fake. SO easy to produce on even the cheapest video editing software. Video 1 is a recording of the hallway as a static image, Video 2 is the same image but with someone walking across. Take Video 1 as the primary reel and put Video 2 over Video 1 as a transparent overlay. SIMPLE as that...

I work at metro. That looks like it was filmed in building 301 near the front gate.I have experienced a similar phenom in the same building.
