I hope BYU and ECU do make BCS runs this year. I love these stories over the last couple years of these teams coming out of no where and making great runs I think that is what makes college football so great. No, not really. A simple prayer'll bring the rain. We did, however, have to put up with a year of taunts from U fans who shoved religion in our faces. It's not called "the Holy War" for nothing. It's hard to explain the tension that goes into this game - I wouldn't be surprised if there were a number of U fans praying while all us Y fans were pouring our hearts out in supplication.

I hope BYU and ECU do make BCS runs this year. I love these stories over the last couple years of these teams coming out of no where and making great runs I think that is what makes college football so great. That and the fact that it is do or die every weekend makes it so much sweeter when your team actually does make it that far. And this coming from an Oklahoma fan whose team was beat by one of those teams 2 years ago against Boise State, the greatest game I've ever seen. I say go BYU and ECU

I will eat some Humble pie. I deserve it. Utah and BYU both look really good ( i reckon one of the 2 will make a BCS). BUT, i lived in SLC for a year and i think it is very hypocritcal for Mormans to call others bigoted...a very sexist and racist religion. Not to mention extremely wierd (get your own planet and such...who really believes that shit?) But i did deserve some shit for my drunken comments. Having watched UTah and BYU both multiple times...they are both very good teams.

Utah is ahead by about 20 games. However, most of those wins were back in the very early years before they started regularly switching back and forth each year between Salt Lake City and Provo. That didn't start until the mid-1960's. Most of the games were in Salt Lake.

No, not really. A simple prayer'll bring the rain. We did, however, have to put up with a year of taunts from U fans who shoved religion in our faces. It's not called "the Holy War" for nothing. It's hard to explain the tension that goes into this game - I wouldn't be surprised if there were a number of U fans praying while all us Y fans were pouring our hearts out in supplication.

the 'answered prayer' is a term used in any sporting event. listen to commentators in games. when it comes down to the last few seconds, someone will almost for sure say "and he throws up a prayer". so its just a term, dont take it too personal.

This is the best video of the 2006 BYU vs. Utah game I've seen on YouTube. It shows the highlights of the game throughout, including the big plays by Utah. Those are needed to show what a tough, back and forth game it was. And the end is just icing on the cake. Just awsome. Let's do it again this year down in Provo. GO COUGARS!!!!!!
