Nicholas Cage's acting in this movie is absolutely horrendous! In the original, even though I'm not remotely religious, let alone Christian, I'm with Howie all the way on his journey to the Wicker Man, and his eventual horrific death inside it. You really feel for him, which is entirely due to the magnificent performance of Edward Woodward. He conveys genuine anguish and suffering as he's meeting his fate. Cage's acting in this is so wooden, you feel no compassion for his character at all!

i'm a huge fan of the 1973 Wicker Man with Christopher Lee and Edward Woodward a classic british horror film but watching this remake was a disgrace to the 1973 classic.

But I cant help it that the remake feels more of a Comedy then Horror i cant take this remake seriously and ether way even if i could it's still a horrible this remake. and this is only decent part of it cause of the credits. i'm not hating just being honest.
