  • really good song :)

its been on repeat for a while!

its my first time hearing this song and listening to C-Pop x)

  • nice song.. easy to learn ^_^

  • Damn it ._. This song is too good for me to sing xD

  • ชอบมากๆโดนใจอ่ะที่สุด

  • listen to this song after such a long time and still completely deeply in love with it <3

  • jay wonderfull

  • His voice resonates and molds with the background music...not many singers could do that.

  • Jay Chou is so hot! (:

  • i dont know mandarin but this song is great..

  • The translations are too literal. haha Now everything just sounds funny. XD

  • does anyone know how long it would generally take for someone to become fluent in mandarin chinese?

  • @kabelcar1000 I have no idea, but it took me years to become fluent in English. It also depends on how many hours you spend on learning and practicing everyday.

  • @yhchou2011 good for you!! Thats great :D Did you spend time in the U.S. while learning, or did you just take classes in your own country?

  • @kabelcar1000 it doesn't matter how long it takes u to become fluent , it all depends on yourself .

  • hah only 3 dislikes the people whho disliked must be retards who dont understad chinese

  • @AwesomeJingTan

    I don't understand chinese either.

Music is a language of it's own.

  • @Ln192 But The Chinese Lyrics Is Really Beautiful <3

  • @Ln192 you are not a retard then

  • The 4 people who disliked this, there are 93953 people that are ready to kick your ass

  • The 4 people who disliked this, there are 93953 people that are ready to kick your ass

  • The 4 people who dislike this, there are 93953 people that are ready to kick your ass

  • @kabelcar1000 I'm Chinese and basically we like just know you can hear that little tone/pitch/duration on it but generally we just know the correct one cuz of the meaning so just learn em basically :D

  • @Empolziken Thankyou! I appreciate the help :)

  • so ive just recently started to learn mandarin chinese, and I found out that the language puts certain pitches and tones on words that look the same but the tone makes them mean different things. My question is how can you hear the special tones or pitches in a song since he's following a melody? Is it just something you practice? thanks :)

  • @kabelcar1000 basically we can't tell them according to it's tones in a song, cause as you say, they're following the melody. But we'll try to recognize them according to their words, phrases, or sentences. So once one is learning enough vocabulary of Chinese, he/she will soon learn to know how to distinguish them in a song.

  • @germingfy Thankyou so much for the clarification!

  • @kabelcar1000 You're welcome : )

  • Jay Chou is too cute ! I love his voiceee <3

  • Thank you! :)

  • I'm Vietnamese too. I heard that the melody wrote by Jay, and the lyrics was wrote by someone else I don't remember the name. So beautiful the melody and it's crystal lyrics!

  • @nhhhuy the lyricist is Vincent Fang.. He has been working together closely with Jay Chou since the beginning of Jay Chou's career..

  • @andreasnovianto Yes. Vincent Fang and Jay Chou are the best team for pop songs. Beautiful lyrics and beautiful music.

  • I'm Vietnamese but I love Jay's songs.

  • I am not a Chinese and yet I am SOOOOOO in LOVE with all of his songs ^_^

And because of him too, I can speak a litle bit of Mandarin now :D

  • greatest song of jay but this song is hard to sing live

  • love this song

  • out of 68.665 hits on the replay button, the 68.000 are mine for sure!!!

  • the english lyrics are soo beautiful..beautiful poems..

  • This video was just added to a music playlist at JustPlay.fm

  • The Cat and You both want to understand?

are you sure that's the line?

  • @extremist77 the line before says, "The taste of sanma" Sanma is a type of fish. Therefore the following line

The cat and you both want to understand. refers to the cat and you and the taste of fish

  • @EvaDreaming

This sentence is wrote about 村上春樹 Murakami Haruki's book.

    以前看過一則報導說這句歌詞出自村上春樹的一部作品裡:)

  • @EvaDreaming so jay is a fish and he wants her to eat him?

  • @malsolv ...well, if that happens to Mantis' then it can happen here.

(Female mantis eat the head off the male after mating apparently in Kung-fu panda2.)

  • @Temayuka Well, if only they werent talking about fish in the context, ur random bullshit may actually work lolz.

  • @extremist77

    The Cat (貓)and(跟) You(你) both(都) want to(想) understand(了解)

  • @extremist77

    I'm Taiwanese.

  • @extremist77

  • it can be either

    誰 谁 shéi who

    誰 谁 shuí who

    Variant : 誰

    = shei = who

    = shui = who

  • @EvaDreaming 我同意!

  • @EvaDreaming you used different pinying, thats why you see them the same.. for me, i use the shui one..

  • stfu, appreciate that he/she putted effort into this ancel wutever

  • BOTH are acceptable for "who" (shei and shui are both correct, depending on where the speaker is from, the "who" can be pronounced either so better review YOUR Chinese.)
