@xXHevionXx Not especially big? Are you kidding? I'm over 13 hours in and I'm not even half-way. This game is FAR longer than just about every hack n slash game I've ever played (GoW included). On top of that there's plenty for you to unlock as you play.....and trust me.........you'll WANT to unlock most of it. I don't normally buy single playthru games either, but I absolutely LOVE this game.

@mitch3555 Well considering that God of War copied those elements from games like DMC, Rygar, Ninja Gaiden, and Resident Evil, I'd say that LoS is no more a copycat than GoW itself.  Both games took elements from previous games in the genre.

@rockypasco Agreed. I played the demo on PSN this past weekend, and it sure as hell feels like Castlevania to me. Matter of fact, I found myself positively put off when I realized the demo was over. THIS is how I've always felt that a proper 3D CV game should play. Someone finally delivered. Now if we can only get CV 1,2, or 3 remade in this fashion........I can die a thoroughly happy man.

Kojima has done nothing, was only a counselor , Mercury Steam (a spanish company) are the ones who created an entirely game and the last word on the boards of Kojima of them had an . that's why they named it the Spanish castlevania , is that Kojima has made very good games like metal gear but do not be fooled this is not done Kojima.

It's such a shame so many people don't realize just how steeped in old school Castlevania atmosphere this game really is. The first 2-3 minutes of images just ooze Castlevanias 2,3, and 4 in look and feel. And I see that they've included some 2D styled platforming sections (6:43)

What alot of gamer's tend to forget is that castlevania was most likely a huge inspiration for games like GOW and even GOW has elements to it that you can say they borrowed from castlevania series.

Originality in gameing is dieing and has been that way for awhile now, even all the top movies of this year and even Avatar from last was not original in the slightest and music is alot worse for unoriginality. My advice is get over the past, it doesnt make you look 1337, just enjoy a fuckin game

acctually as far as side scrolling TITANS go this series has done that sense the beginning. when all you had was 1 screen to run back and forth and dodge, and kill parts of each boss as you go along.. but now were at the point where we can fully engage them. EVERYONE copied Castlevania.
