  • Which has more things to catch AZ or CO. which has more herps that are easier to find?

  • @Tdude909 - AZ has more diversity of species and I think easier to find. CO isn't an easy place to herp.

  • boy those gilas aren't easy to find. road cruising at night - but finding "the road" is a matter of luck i think.

  • my wife is a trooper, wait until you see some of the roads I took her on. AZ has some great looking garters, not as cool as SF though.

  • The only snakes I have ever seen here in Montana is a bull snake (rat snake) Prarie Rattlesnake, A Gardensnake, different types of watersnake, a milksnake, and ahh its on the tip of my tongue it was pure brown but usually its pure lime green can't remember the name. But if you ever come up to MT to herp give me a call I would LOVE to come along.

  • thanks! those storms were crazy, happened every stinking afternoon. the lightening was insane, 20-30 stikes in like 15-20 min.

  • alligator lizard. found a few this trip, will put some of the others in upcoming vids.

  • found several kings this trip. that guy was out on a real rainy night.

  • that was so cool I found two black necked garters in like fifteen minutes in arizona.

  • yeah, we found about 3-4 in 20 minutes or so, must've hit the right spot.
