I have not heard this in years. growing up in Seattle, I remember when this was on KPLZ for weeks and weeks in the number one spot on their countdown. I'm so glad to see it here. Thanks for sharing.
My 1st Sgt. plays this damn song non freaking stop in our Humvee while out on line patrol. I had to look it up. Was hoping to see the face behind the voice, but nope. The voice reminds me of Agent Smith in Matrix
RyuD. I got the single of this when it came out ("She" was the B side) and that varying pitch and speed when he says lake was there in the original so it's not an itunes damaged copy.
2. Sounds just like "Spas Attack" with different words, but way too similar. "The girl who talked with her eyes" = "I think I'm going out of my blinkset".
Its an 90s artsy-techno Nickelback where all of the songs sound the same
boom shakalaka magashing pow, doom shalaka nagga ting cow, something something boggga fling tow, 1 was 1 and now 1 is 3............what the fuck was that?
This is the sa,e damaged track from iTunes. At 1:36 thereabouts he says "I was walking near a lake" and you hear "I was walking near a l$%%" where the words at "lake" are garbled and oddly pitched.
@RyuDarragh it always had that on the radio edit we used to listen to back in the 90's. I remember we used to try to sing that part to the best of our ability! :)
does anyone know where to see the original video promo for this song? I saw it when it first came out on Rage and it was really clever and suited the song perfectly.
i used to listen to this song when i was really, really little. i loved it so much, and i just remembered it randomly yesterday and asked my mom what it was called. now, i found it and ahhh so much nostalgia
ohh its a great song,..i listen this ,in a blog called retrowonderland,..in my country here in southamerica this song was unknown.¡¡..ITS AN UNDER HIT..¡¡
I have not heard this song since I was in high school. It was one of those songs that came out for a few weeks and was gone. I always remembered this one because it reminded me of a guy I worked with when this song came out. Glad to have heard it again after a long while.
I barely and distantly remembered this song from 1990, when I was 8 years old. Yes. 8. It stuck in my head somehow. I thought it was a dream or something. I was stunned when by chance I Google'd "This is ponderous man really ponderous" and lo and behold, this song ACTUALLY EXISTED!!!!!
shampoo cell-says--Undoubtedly one of my favorite all-time recording artists because you just can't compare them to anything else. Listening to either of their albums is like watching a film noir, but because it's audio only you can conjure up your own images (although the ones provided are indeed quite vivid).
It's a totally adventurous experience to take in a 2nu song; one that should be passed up by no one.
Profile:Experimental band from Seattle, WA specializing in avant-garde and unusual music. Most of 2nu's lyrics (aside from background vocals) are spoken, rather than sung, and often recount dreams or stories ranging from the seemingly odd to the obviously odd, but never the banal
3 PEOPLE COULDNT SEE WHAT IM SAYING

Two things about this song:
1. Sound like Steven Wright
2. Sounds just like "Spas Attack" with different words, but way too similar. "The girl who talked with her eyes" = "I think I'm going out of my blinkset".
