This superb unit will be a revolution for hobbyists and to be witness to its first public presentations is as good as looking at Wozniak presenting his first Apple. @iamufreak, this is not an iPad either. No casing, no batteries, no touch screen, no Bluetooth, no WiFi, no 3G card, no proprietary software, no update assistance, no app store, etc.

Granted, an iPad isn't $600 worth, but with a large profit margin, you wouldn't have much to invest developing in new products.

The only variable to criticize is the patent and intellectual property they use to deter free competence in their market niche thus perpetuating a oligopoly of large corporations.

This video is spoiled by such poor audio. I am English & used to the accent but, even so, I found some of it totally unintelligible. If you are doing something like this it is a good idea to either have a separate mic or, preferably ask the PA people for an audio feed. I suppose that isn't always so easy to do that.

@technoboi0 yeah, i mean, this was the best I could do. Camera doesn't support an external mic, and it was a pretty informal thing. Plus it was outside. There was no PA people, just some guy who helped the presenter get setup in about 3 minutes. I was happy to get any video at all!

The possibilities with this thing are endless, when I get my hands on one my idea is the mod it into and xbox controller and put a load of emulators on it, then have the hdmi lead come out of the xbox controller to plug it directly into the TV.
