@pocketquacks The girl who directed, wrote, and produced the Soul Reaver/Defiance games (and also worked on Blood Omen: The Legacy of Kain in some capacity) did Uncharted 2 and 3. Look to those titles for her most recent works.

I agree with you b00ned, Silicon Knights were originally intended to make a sequel but Eidous/Crystal Dynamics bought the rights to the game and fucked up the story with Soul Reaver especially by adding a character that was originally meant to appear in a Angel themed game (Raziel).

Are you crazy? Definace was great! but the way how it ended begs for a follow up. I don't know about you, but I'm really interested in finding out about Raziel, Nosgoth and Kain. I want to see that coin fall on its edge according to Kain - the third option.

@Weedlab11 the edge of the coin happened in SR2 when the Soul Reaver turned on Raziel and caused him to kill himself and Kain rescued him by taking the sword out of him.

the story line of this series was far to good, rounded off so well, such an amazing story - the voice talent, the angles, the art work.

ya know it would be awsome if they made big budget movie of blood omen and i thought of a scene that would be cool the scene would be when kain is first brought back as a vampire he would have a spiked mace weapon and confront his the brigands that killed him and he would kill one with the mace and it would be covered in blood kain looks at the mace and licks it off of the mace and the other brigands run screaming

yyyeah. Everyone knows how bad Boll is, but not Anderson. I can believe ppl cant appreciate how bad his RE films are. And the fact that he's engaged to the main actress.. Well no shit. IMO you can take a creative license and thats fine, but when you hav the lead striking poses every other second, using quick-cut camera work so u cant tell the fight choreography, and the experience itself is pure uninvolveing, uninspired, untalented bullshit, how is it u giv this guy enough money to make 3 films?

at first i found it cool that a german director was in charge of making the RE-movie (i'm german too) but when i saw the result i was absolutely disappointed. i'm a RE-Fan since the very beginning and those movies didn't catch the essence of the story.
