he is starting to look bigger now is he moving up a Wight class. he looked allot smaller in some of his k1 fights. mind you that I have not seen to many of his fights
I can only imagine how much better buakaws gonna get now that he's adding modern sports science training to his regiment. He was already a monster now hes gonna be something more.
i don't think that you thought much about that response at all. this training he is doing here is new training methods and i'm just saying that there are more effective ways of training. i love the guy, he's an artist in the ring, but his fitness training is far from world class. it's not up for debate, it's factual friend.
Basic is the way they train in Thailand. I know this from first hand experience. I spent 3 months at a gym in Thailand practising Muay Thai. Mostly we ran a lot, lots of situps, a few weights but not much, lots of shadow boxing, footwork, bagwork, pad work and light sparring. They guys I was training with were fighters to - my Thai friend had over 200 fights and won most of them using this simple (but very tough) training.
It's good to see Buakaw expanding his training regimen. Much of what he was doing will improve his core strength and help with balance. It may not be conventional by current Muay Thai standards but if it works who cares right?
@GoldenGuardian32 Im sorry but I dont think u r the right person to judge about that. Buakaw por pramuk has 9 World champ tittles, 232 fights from which he won 199 and lost 21. Their methods might seem arcaic or primitive but I asure you that there is no better fitness training for muay thai than the one he gets.
only safe environment for humans to live is in California, no crazi weathers here. Hope Thailand gets no more over flooding, because if it doesn't, it will become apart with the world's seas. besides, Buakaw is in Thailand, feeding his people suffering from the endless floodings. i only fear, Thailand will soon run out of supplies...is Por Pramuk camp alright? is it still over flooding there?
@IceAeon thanks, i didnt know that, i was always taught to breath out through the hard part (going up) and breath in during the easy part (going back down) but i know something new now again thanks
@coleslaw871 Technically, neither way is wrong, when you are doing works out like a push up, you don't physically exert yourself enough to deplete or deprive your body of oxygen. Though, breathing properly while fighting is something everyone should work on so they don't physically exhaust themselves before the fight is over.
the reason y muay thai and boxing has refs, is simple, their not animals like ufc and mma, ufc and mma r from the street, so they just fight for money, but boxing and muay thai fight for a better purpose, they fight to survive and feed their families.
i want to see ufc vs muay boran someday, and c which style has both better stand up and grappling skills, heh heh heh... i already know which style is the dominant in the wild heat of battle of survival of the fittest, muay boran obv. was used to defend against armed enemies duh.

when he was doing push ups he was breathing out when he was going down, i wonder why?

@coleslaw871 Because when you exert your muscles they need oxygen to function optimally, so taking in oxygen as you exert can help.
