There is not any "Punk Pop" label, man.. and Propagandhi is defenitley not a Pop-Punk band. And you know, Epitaph have tons of hip hop bands right now... so I think we are pretty gangasta beacuse we listen to Bad Religion and Pennywise, isn't?

@Ericisgoodenough I'm not usually the kind of person that argues or calls people names over the internet, but calling Propagandhi "Pop punk" is probably the most ridiculously stupid things I've ever read.
@KEYSERH0RZE How to Clean Everything is pop punk record. I know this because it's the only Prop record my wife wants on her Ipod. After 17 years of listening to our beloved music, this is the most failsafe indication of what a pop punk record is. PS - why do you guys want to trash each other? There are so few of us that would even click on this video. Why don't you want to argue over semantics and act "punker than though." The people watching this are good people.
@Ericisgoodenough Your pretty stupid man. Propagandhi is on "Fat Wreck Chords" that's a Pop Punk label. Screeching Weasel, Lagwagon, No Use For a Name, Nerf Herder, The Ataris. If that's not Pop Punk i don't what is. Your pretty ignorant human being for not knowing what Pop Punk is.
Dear Coach's Corner is a true story about something that happened while Chris was at a hockey game with his niece and it scared the shit out of her, so he had to pick her up and leave. To say that it's written about something so pointless is one of the most ignorant things I've ever heard in my life. You clearly do not understand what this band is all about.
Well, amazing is a pretty subjective term. You might not think it is, but plenty of others do. "It takes a village to raise a child, but a flag to raze the children til they are nothing more than ballast for fulfilling a madman's dream of a paradise where complexity is reduced to black and white". That's a very powerful lyric. The song is one of the best Chris has ever written. Maybe it's the cultural difference since you don't live in Canada, but I do and I know exactly what the song implies.
It's not just about Don Cherry, or hockey, it's a commentary about the problems far deeper rooted within Canada about people that just sit idle and don't realize the kind of impact this sort of behavior on kids, and even adults. Hockey is huge in Canada, so the song's comparisons to the Nazi influence are not that far off. It's exactly how Hitler was able to pull the wool over the eyes of an entire nation.
wait... when you say 'pig' do you mean cop... casue sometimes pig is a symbolic term for cop.I'm just kidding... I haven't listened to these guys in a while, but they do have very layered symbolic meanings... then again they also have some blatant ones too. Last I heard of theirs was Todays empires... Great album.
i agree 100%! the only punk songs on the record really. the rest was way too metal. the last track was the most unremarkable instrumental i've ever heard.
oh no, I love the whole album. I'm listening to it non stop. but those are my favorite tracks. right now. but yeah, last will and testament isn't really the crown jewel that iteration or purina is. banger's embrace kind of serves as the climax of the CD for me.
This was a great show, hope they'll come to Finland again soon! This song really impressed me! I'm sure the new album will be amazing just like all the others.
it's only been...I guess 3 years now haha. Assuming it's out next year, that's only 4, the average wait between propagandhi albums. haha. still, exciting!
I've just been on a fucking total high since I first heard this song and now all these tracks from the new album keep popping up on here. I hate how inactive they are cuz I could watch them play every day.
This song's called "Francis", or atleast that's part of the name. I got the setlist from the Toronto show, and one of the songs was called Francis, but they skipped it at the actual show. Then when I listened to the bridge of this song, he definately says something about "Francis". So I'm pretty sure that's it and they just didn't play it in Toronto.
pop punk is an oxymoron. and anyone who thinks this band is pop punk is a moron

Propagandhi are no longer anything to do with fat wreck. These days, Propagandhi = G7 Welcoming Committee & Smallman Records :)

One of the most underated bands in all of Pop Punk, Chris Hanah is a better guitarist than Green Day Blink 182 and Good Charlotte put together.

If you can't deduce the meaning of Potemkin city limits, than you have some serious mental deficiencies.

Agreed - the last track was slightly disappointing. Was hoping it was a grower but I'm still waiting for it to grow...
