Ah ha. Tis ye olde plenum chamber thingy! Yes, used on many a 2 stroke bike engine. Once you find exactly the right size and shape of 'bottle' you will have better power and torque.

My bike, which is a 125 2 stroke, Yamaha TZR 125L has a boost bottle among other perfomance upgrades and it is an amazing gain of power, I tried without it and it felt crap... try making a powervalve as well... also as you must know, exhaust expansion chamber shape and size are also important on a 2T

can you see that the boost bottle has a bit of fuel tubing - it goes into the crankcase at the side...so the boost bottle is basically an injector...fuel goes into the combustion chamber from the bottle, before the fuel in the tank gets pulled through....not sure though..i'm just working with thought lol

Yer thats why i picked the hyper .21 it has plenty of power, great top speed and easy to tune. I think its a 4 port engine, im running 16 percent with a hot glowplug.

you have to drill and tap the hole just underneath the carby ventury. the hole idea is to supply more air and fuel into the engine without being restricted by the carby. if you don't like the way it performs(which you wont) you just put a little bolt in the hole and block it off.

what won't work? Boost bottle won't work? lol, seriously they do work, I guess it was Honda which were using it on some 125cc motorcycles, and also it's known to work on two-stroke mopeds, when they are correctly made and installed. At moped usage, I guess always you can get alot better working boost bottle when you calculate the bottle size and pipe lenght yourself to fit the engine. (Stock boost bottles are too small)

Sorry to say but thats got a distinct lack of power, the standard Mach 28 is no slower than that. As one of my customers mentioned, it makes a good door stop.

sound like you have the basic idea. these engines produce pulses which then get pressurized in the bottle then bounced back into the chamber. get a LRP SPEC3 28 engine. massive power! they vary from price so shop around. i just put an injection set up on my LRP, now i have too much power! it wheel stands and ive blown a diff already!
