@SteevDragon67 The US is formed on Common Law. After the colonial days and the breakaway from England the USA kept Common Law. Probably because it made sense. This is the essence of it all, The law of the land and your rights as a Human.

Um Veronica I was wondering what gives an officer probable cause, is it anything that regards to their five senses?

Also say you are caught impaired by marijuana, or smell like it, or have possesion, is it lawful to put you under arrest? There is no breach in common law therefore they have no lawful excuse to arrest you. The reason why i'm asking this is because in one of the slides you give an eg. asking the police officer if he has reasonable suspicion that there is illicit drugs in your home

the mercury in a cfl lightbulb or the or the americium in ur smoke detector (in ur house) are likely to be a lot more harmful to you than any illicit drugs. dont worry about it anyway, its just an act, you have to ask urself "am I an actor?"

@jonboda ok another question, they say drivers license is a contract right? when you sign it aren't you agreeing to the terms of the road. So therefore if you were caught speeding, even though you didn't break common law, woudn't you be obliged to follow the contract that you signed? Or is it an invalid contract because there is no other signature, only yours?

Also when you go to court to fight an unlawful ticket, do you have to send in some sort of paperwork to the courts before you can go?

@SoDrigh not sure about the driving contract, I wouldnt bother, just make sure the car has some kind of insurance for the ANPR. after that point if stopped they would have to proove who you are, wether u had a licence or not... as for court. court is the series and record of events before you get to the actual building, when you go to the building that is judgement based on your court of events.... hope my view helps, be good for other opinions, love and peace.
