@5JACKHOFF5 Hello, I have decided to reply to your comment for no particularly adequate reason, other then to make you read it. I would like to tell you that I released my bowls the other day. And as such the fecal matter was an oddity. To put it plainly, my poo was a foamy snake. It looked thick, but when I squeezed my butt hole the poo broke, and floated in the toilet water. Thank you.
Hey, I was making this Mario thingy for my doorbell and it works fine the first few times then after that the first torch doesn't work. I'm doing this on a server so if you want to check it out and help me that would be very much appreciated. PM me for IP
whoops.. youtube said "error.. try again" when i tried to post my comment.. so i tried and tried.. and gave up.. just to find out my comment actually got posted.. 4 friggin times... FU youtube -.-
@blahblahblahblha303 weird.. fraps works fine for me (on Win7 Professional x64), but camtasia gave me some strange glitchy problems sometimes (recording the game led to ingame mouse spasms.. ended up turning in cirles all the time as soon as i started recording O.o)
did you start fraps before minecraft..? also try running fraps as admin. it writes files to the HDD (the videos.. duh) and that might not work if it's running as non-admin cause windows blocks all attempts by fraps to do so.
that's malware protection crap that causes more problems than it fixes lol
I combined this tutorial with @rad4Ri's idea of a repeater instead (takes up more space, but uses less sand and complexity), added on a loop and put it on my channel. No sound though, Hypercam's annoying. It'll be a vid response here when it's done uploading.
This seems like a complicated way to invert the signal. I just use NOT gates, myself. They're reasonably compact, they' simple, and easy to keep track of.
For the people who want to make it loop: you'd need a clock. It's a bit advanced but if you want to make it, look it up. you'd need a slow stable clock.
@MrTeekay101 IS there anyway you could match the colors with the notes for me? I have no clue when it comes to music, and I would really appreciate it if you could do that.
@EC17MEISTER Premiere Pro, and it has built in presets. I modified the MP4 720p YouTube preset for 1080p instead and increased the bitrates just a tad
you could make a clock circuit (five 5 inverters looped together) make the song circuit and attach it to the clock. then it would repeat. if ur song is longer than five notes then make the loop longer
make sure ur song is an odd number of notes though
clocks only work if u have an odd number
this is a theory so don't expect it to work perfectly as i say
this is just an idea for u ppl that wat to know how to loop. if u don't really understand me then go and research redstone circuits
i made this whole thing under my room as u walk in it plays thank you for guide only thing i can say is the hyper speed parts where hard to trace but i figured it out good vid
You know that block you said was unnecessary in the delay circuit? That top torch is supposed to be attached to it. The one you made is just working as a repeater.
@Wolf202Videos I would assume if you split the button's wire into a giant loop of repeaters you could delay it long enough to start again right at the end of the song. There's probably a much easier way I'm just suggesting the first one that came to mind.
If the wiki's any indicator, I don't think so. But I wouldn't know. Maybe you could use some kind of redstone magic to make the circuit loop back around in a non-continuous current. If one can do that, then maybe you can make a loop.
@Wolf202Videos yes just do a clock so when its all way around it starts again, its simple but hard to explain, maybe 5clock will give you and idea of how it works, search for it on wiki
@Stormx2 Yeah tis true, removed the comment. I hadn't spent much time thinking about it yet and it was the obvious stupid brute force approach, was waiting for someone to call me out on it actually :P
I have seen some example of interesting set ups since like triggering it with a button and it looping as long as a switch is on. Could do it with just the button if it used a T-flip flop, the output of which is connected to an and gate so it determines whether the next loop happens or not.
@Wolf202Videos if you build a circuit of torches that only go one way, and make sure they are not a parity, they will start and stop every now and then, and send a signal to you doorbell.
I saw a a tutorial on that. It is possible by putting a lever on the block under one of the redstone torches. Makes that torch go out and breaks the loop.
@Mysteria9 Just create a switch circuit that powers the looping circuit on or off, it's very simple, and can likely be done by just having a switch attached to some redstone that leads somewhere in the looping circuit. Turning it on/off will enable or disable the loop.
@MrTeekay101 I tried doing this same thing now even on 1.2_01 update, and I think the extra torches and that one block at top are necessary for the right timing. Or at least for this tune.
@MrTeekay101 Simple, you copied it wrong :S. That torch on top should be against the wall :) It only really changes your tempo by 1 tick so its not a big difference.
