  • Both Emir's tone AND playing cut through a mix like a lightsaber through droid scum.

  • How about you put more sevdah influence in your solos?

When I was a kid, my mom used to sing me song called "Emina" by Aleksa Šantić and since then I've been in love with sevdah. What you made is simply perfect - metal strength combined with sevdah emotions. Thank you for that!

  • Awesome, Man, I have being trying to play this, Without the tabs it's really hard

If you don't mind can you send me the tabs ?

  • os agradeceria si me dijerais si se puede conseguir el tab ¿?

Hej kralju :) Jesi ti u Bosni? Cim budem tamo javljam se i to uskoro. Ti izvadi rakije i suhog mesa i pripremi hastal pod grozdjem. Ja ne mrdam sa one klupe 7 dana :)

  • @irac78 Nigde bez rakije...:))

  • i just climaxed

  • POLAKO POLAKO STA TI JE ?

  • A/Db ? should be A/C#... spelling matters people

  • @FuckinMetalBitchs

Not in this case. This is in the key of Dm which uses flats.

  • @irac78 Actually no. Db is not in the key of D minor.. actually the note C#(Db) is from the D Harmonic Minor Scale which is written D E F G A Bb C# D. It is a diatonic , seven note, scale and you must only use each letter once when writing it. Also the note C# is the third of A major, the V7 chord in D. Although the two notes C# and Db are enharmonically equal, in this case you spell it using C#.

  • @FuckinMetalBitchs

This is D minor which is relative to F major. That scale has 1 flat (B flat). Minor scale formula using numbering system goes: 1, 2, b3, 4, 5, b6, b7 and 1. There are weird approaches in classical music where people don't use modal system for writting music. For them only 4 scales exist in the whole world (major and 3 types of minor). I've seen many classical notations written in a ridiculous way. I use Berklee (modern) approach. Trust me, in this case this is the way to go

  • @FuckinMetalBitchs

And also, C#(Db) in this case doesn't come from D minor. It is "borrowed" from D harmonic minor, or even more precisely, from A phrygian dominant - which is the 5th mode of D harmonic minor. Even in that case you use flats for writing if your song is in D minor. There are cases where you can use sharps for chromatic passes but if you analyse this particular progression, Db (as a passing note) is perfectly ok.

  • @irac78 i didn't say C#(Db) came from D minor... Like you say, and as i already mentioned in my first post, It comes from D harmonic Minor. It is not standard to write that scale as D E F G A Bb Db D.... The 7th note in the scale, C, is raised to C#, so that the V to I progression is "harmonically" as strong as possible. That is where the name Harmonic Minor comes from.

  • @irac78 Also, the A/Db(C#) is an A triad in its first inversion and i don't think the Db is acting as a passing note. Either way your explanation isn't very clear as to why you would use Db... please explain more clearly

  • @irac78 Oh and, aside from all this theory stuff, very nice playing!

  • @FuckinMetalBitchs easy explanation is rythmn chord plays A and bass jump to Db/C#...

  • I heard star trek in the beginning lol

  • svaka cast brate ...kralj si zelim ti puno zdravlja i srece ..pozdrav ispod grozdja..

  • @MrSejokeydura

Kako je legendo :) Pustam ovdje raji stalno "nasloni se na mene" i "kocka secera" hahaha. Niko ne vjeruje da ja sviram.

  • E jel se mozda sjecas kako si dobio ovaj ton otprilike..hvala

  • @DuDe1040

    Da. Amplitube 3

  • great phrasing

  • I was fairly happy with the lessons on this site, but very disappointed when I found out they auto-renewed my subscription (without warning) and REFUSED to provide a prompt refund when requested on the same day of the renewal. I am unemployed and couldn't afford the extra year of service, so the $90 was very important.

I had planned on joining again when I get back to work, but after this experience, they will never get another dime of my money.

  • @Kawboy718

I used to teach there, no time for that anymore. check out live4guitar com there will be plenty of free stuff and join forum if you need anything. Sorry to hear about your experience

  • @irac78 Cool. I'll check it out.. Thanks..

  • holy shit! nice playing!

Anyway i could get the backingtrack?

  • Very good. Are yo working on solo album?

  • What scale is this based off of?

  • @Rushisftw

    D minor mostly

  • Oh I meant not what key more what type of scale like Phrygian or something. Or is there a scale type called D minor? Haha, I'm still a noob for now only memorized pentatonic minor and major.

  • @Rushisftw

Yes there is a scale called "D minor" :) D natural minor or (D aeolian mode) in this case

  • You got great music theory also! Build up the intensity very well! Great phrasing!

  • jebote ne mogu da verujem ... slucajno naletih na klip .. covece tebi treba reklame reklame i reklame ... prejebeno dobro :D
