  • THe first few second you spoke I thought you were japanese.

  • This is a nice idea... the comparison between arcade and nes versions I mean

  • Thanks. I think each version has its own charme while the arcade board is a hell lot more difficult.

Nevertheless, I found Gun Smoke for arcade/psx/sat more fun. Maybe because it is faster, the NES version lets you walk around for 2 minutes doing almost nothing.

  • Shit yea, the arcade version is retardedly difficult. I remember playing Gunsmoke in an arcade at a local theme park in the late 80's, putting a quarter into the machine and seeing the game over screen about 30 seconds later. Unforgiving as hell! Furious action

I appreciate the NES version more b/c it's more playable for me, more colorful, less frustrating, and has catchier music.

  • @RainMan34 The same thing could be done for many different game consoles/handhelds like Super Famicom/SNES, Sega Megadrive/Genesis, PlayStation, N64 and even Sega Dreamcast - and many more systems. The main thing to notice with older systems would be what different companies were able to do with the limitations they had at the time, but at that time, that's all there was to play on.
