current CO2 levels are 392 ppm and rising. greenland is now rising out of the sea at a rate of 1 inch per year and accelerating. the antarctic is next, within about 3 years CO2 levels will reach 400 ppm and the theoretical tipping point will be reached. antarctica wont melt in a hundred years or more but in a decade or so. the right wing 'gott mit uns' crowd is full of shit, as usual, and will lead you to ruin.

When referring to temp the IPCC was referring to the temp in the antarctic.

The IPCC has deliberately left out antarctica from their impact analysis because they cannot be certain of the impact of climate change on Antarctica.

However if you somehow think this goes anyway to disprove the correlation between atmospheric carbon ppms, which has sustained life on earth than you are sorely mistaken.

Why is greenland frozen and Iceland thawed and green.

Like I said, no doubt you'll deny what's happening. A swiss glacier vanishing from 150m high to a trickle in a person's lifetime. Disappearing sea ice in the Arctic.

Some documentary might have made a gross error about the size of the Antarctic peninsula, but consider that the Ross Ice Shelf is more than half the size of Texas and prone to quick collapse. Believe it or not there are scientists working in the field who have got solid results.

You haven't actually even looked at the table of contents of the IPCC report have you. There's a whole section of undisputed information on the Himilayan Glaciers, and what is almost a throw-away line which is at fault.

Mainstream media will squash and ridicule anything which challenges the values which are a precondition to their world view. And that's a scientific fact - see the recent article on New Scientist.

This has already been debated, over the last 150 years. Go read a history book

Its interesting observing that the natural fluctuations in North and South, seem to follow each other. But opposite; The "record melting" in North (satellites have only measured for 30 years) was followed by record freezing in South last year. The longer trends also show exact same correlation.

Global warming? I think not. At least not human caused.... Its natural ocean/atmospheric cirkulations.

To be honest Globla Warming is real. It's a natural part of the planet's climate system. What is looking bogus more and more is the human cuased global warming bit. First temperatures rise THEN CO2 levels rise. It's not the other way around. Temperature changes follow the sun cycles closer than it does CO2 levels. The poles melt every year. I love how the media loves to play video of chunks of ice falling into the ocean as if it was something unprecedented when in reality it is not. The new claim that the North Pole will completely melt is hilarious. Here we are almost in September and the North Pole is still frozen. Greenland ice is still growing. The only melting is occuring at the edges which is NORMAL. Alarmists make for great entertainment. They prey upon the ignorant.

Data from the Hadley centre (used by the IPCC) clearly show NO warming since 1998. If you have your own private source that shows differently, please share it here.

Note: retrospectively cherry-picking the areas which happen to have warmed in recent decades, and ignoring those that have warmed insignificantly, stayed stable, or actually cooled is not evidence for GLOBAL warming, but is evidence for the dishonesty of GW propagandists.

See the article in Scientific American magazine for Feb. 2008. Note this info is right up to date. And it says that the Antarctic ice sheets are melting faster than predicted. Also there is a documentary made by Austrailian Broadcasting Co. called Crude. Watch it.
