Don't give up on Ron Paul... Call your congressman and tell them not to pas this idiot Bail out.. ...tell them to vote it down or be voted out of office... Freedom through Ron Paul!!
I too thought this was a put down of Ron Paul, but I think the highlight here is how easy that's done through media and how Ron Paul is viewed by those actually in the party, ie they're all hypnotised to war and Ron Paul while speaking sense is easily brushed out of the way by bullies and cowards. Ron Paul is like an old school teacher with all the wisdom and knowledge and the parents haven't given the children any morals so how can he work with them?
Ron Paul never said "If an idiot want to send me any money, who am I to say anything about it!", Nazi donated to Ron Paul? you must be kidding me! Sound a bit like smearing to me.
This is Ron Paul candy...the points Dr. Paul presented are never investigated with questions from Mr. Jay. is drawing conclusions about Dr. Pauls statements "it sounds like he is suggesting "armed resistance". This is bull...While we have a constitutional right to bear arms to defend our rights Mr. Jay is putting words into Dr. Pauls mouth to cast a bad light on his liberty message of free markets and non interventionism. Mr. Jay is focusing attention on something that never happened. He Lies!
Of all the things from the Rally that Paul Jay could have talked about, he picked up on 'armed resistance' which wasn't even in the speech, but something he inferred on his own. Paul has said repeatedly that he doesn't advocate violent resistance, has referenced Gandhi and MLK repeatedly, but TRN didn't seem to get that memo.
Maybe I should donate to get them a research assistant or two.

Neville, Do you kknow why they don't allow commercials?
They don't want their coverage to be beholden to corporations, either one that owns it or advertise on its networks. It's a much better funding model than all other TV networks.
When? WHEN will they be on TV? In 20 years? They need to be on TV NOW, not someday. And their funding model is not only keeping them off of TV, it's begging. If they do what the alternative newsweeklies do and have LOCAL advertising to start with (based in the city they are set up in) they'd be on TV quickly and without any problem. It's their choice.
don't forget, most of pakistan's, israel's defense money, technology also comes via the US taxpayer.
oh yeah, the saudis and opec will hold oil prices artificially high so that they can use the extra dough gained to buy planes, ammo from defense companies in the usa.
so, we're not just paying for usa's defense budget.
in the 60s Kissinger visited all middle east oil producers n offered to make them "rich if they undertake to sell their oil in dollars n buy 20% of the oil revenue in US bonds (printed by a private bank with NO reserves) the only 2 countries that didn't sign? u quessed it Iraq n Iran iraq totally destroyed they are working on iran few international money men with their elitist buddies have taken over most countries
Find it funny he said a lite draft. A draft is draft there no way other way to call it to make it look better. That what Obama and McCain planing more wars and they will start a draft.
Ron Paul is so far out of their reach thats why he wasnt included, hes older, wiser, quicker, makes more sense and he hasnt been beaten in any debate and he'd only end up making them look like a room full of swine
It really irks me how the reporter states Ron Paul accepted one $500 donation from a neo nazi...because for eight years + previous years when G Bush was in office we have had an actual family of Nazi supporters in OUR whitehouse. Prescott Bush (Granddaddy) supported the Nazi regime through Union Bank-the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. So a candidate can't take a donation to further a freedom and liberty cause but someone whose family can support Nazi's in reality can be our president?
If you have not researched it the NeoNazi movement in Germany is tied to the government secret police and just so happens is also to operation Gladiator a U.S. based cold war operation in Europe that also had ties to P2 in Italy.
yes, i agree with sally. he hasn't said anything about the 100% purchase just because its so recent. but no doubt he'll think its unconstitutional and bad.
It might be that he has not yet been asked about this specific event by the press. I would suggest either emailing him via his website (it takes a little time for an answer to come back, but he does answer questions posed to him by the public - a sign of a TRUE representative of the people) or check clips from the financial news shows, where Dr. Paul is a frequent guest brought on to comment on happening in the economic markets. :)
Mccain is against the DRAFT I don't believe that. Anyone who screams fight for your country will institute some type of draft. I am writing in RON PAUL that is the only one way. I feel a little hope with RON PAUL but at the same time I feel real sad right now.
The republicans chose McCain over Ron Paul. That makes about as much sense as takin a knife to a gunfight. The continuation of Bush style policy will see America attacked by real terrorists unlike the fictitious ones on 911.
Why don't we have a peace candidate be a great president?
Because too many people still define their existence through the fight for survival. But the Evolution is really about self-expression and self-realisation; survival is not sufficient... which is why 'I have a dream'.
i love this man. it's sad he was railroaded by his own party and corporate media. he would be a fantastic leader and his ideas of govermental reform and reconstruction are brilliant and just wnat this country needs... any country would be lucky to have a leader like him
I love what Paul has to say on foreign policy. The fact that he has called the US an "empire" is very attractive to me. However, I don't like his unending free market ideology, and I haven't heard him talk about green policies (if someone could point me that way, I would be really appreciative), so I'm still supporting Nader, and probably would be supporting Gravel or Kucinich otherwise.
yes, he's mentioned it quite a few times. he says it an outrage for the government to get involved in the free market. but they should never have even been created in the first place.

To infer that Ron Paul in any way infers armed revolution is on the cards is a fundamental misunderstanding of what he - and the r3V0Lution are about. Dr Paul's message is one of non-violent forms of protest, including civil disobedience. If people make the independent decision to get arrested for, say, a peaceful sit down protest, then he supports their decision to take that form of civil disobedience. It's in no way right to suggest he supports violence.
PEOPLE!! The table is tilted!! no matter who they parade in front of the cameras.... no matter who is elected or what the issues are...the elections are rigged....whomever is in office next will bring us to war, raise our taxes, and embarrass us all with foreign policy. I wish it were different.....but lets really be REAL.
It is hoped that the EU will step up to the plate and provide the shortfall in troops, as the pressure on France and Germany can attest to. Unfortunately for the US--with its focus on Zbigniew Brzezinski's Eurasian Project--the EU is taking the view: why pay to keep a dog and bark yourself. That said, it is dangerous for the EU to become too dependent on the US for its defence, and which Poland and the Czech republic see no other option but accept, at this time.
In comparison to the Swiss the US, in spite of its current shortcomings, has a better GDP per Capita by about $4,000.00 and an almost equal life expectancy on average. So its not all Kraft durch Freude :-)
Don't agree with him? Fine. But don't trust him? That's just plain silly. Dr Paul is "the one exception to the gang of 535 in Washington". He has stood resolutely by his principles - as espoused by the Constitution - for 30 years. He has been saying EXACTLY the same things for all that time - there are youtubes of him from 1988 that could have been speeches from THIS year!! You may not agree with him, but you HAVE to respect his consistency...which means trusting him.
good man. true american. you are only free with a gun on your hand and gold backed money in your pocket and a copy of the constitution on the other pocket
Most Congressman accept money from AIPAC. The people who are supporting the creation of more illegal settlements on Arab land (O.K. G_d gave it to the Judeans) this only creates more TERRORISTS. Ron Paul does not support racism, the contrary, he is a libertarian and thus believes all should be free and treated equally.
All money, funding any party, has dirt and blood and it.
Muslim Jihadists are voting Labour in the UK.
If this were the 1920's and the KKK, the American Nazi Party, and Southern White Power segregationists weren't the defanged paper-tigers they are today, I'd see cause for concern. At the moment they are marginalized powerless fringe groups.
And as kooky as they are, they do have a right to free speech.
But understand what he said about it: Its better that this money goes to a good cause instead of giving it back so the nazis can spend it on something bad. Understand?
"He realy accepted money from Neo nazis!? I like everything else he says, but nazis?"
EVERY candidate receives such money. It's not a question of whether he took it, it's a question of whether it would in any way influence him. Lobbyists don't even bother visiting his office. He's never taken a dime from them in 20 years of office. He's stood resolutely by his platform - the Constitution - and voted that way every day of those 20 years, even if it meant being the only one who did in 535:1 votes
